We started rainforest from a Montessori setting and I have to say I like the teaching methodology at rainforest as much as I like the Montessori approach. Also the teachers and assistants are all well informed about your kid. So I’m not worried about who’s in the class room and if they know what my kid needs. They have answered all my questions in details and provided ease and comfort during the transition from one school to another. I’m very grateful for the teachers in the 12-15months classroom. Also the director is lovely, she’s so kind and comforting, it feels like you are chatting with a friend.

We loved our time at Rainforest! My child started there at 6 months of age and continued until just under 4, when we moved out of state. The teachers are wonderful and creative. The amount of artwork coming home is impressive; your child will have tons of hands on learning and exploring. There are fun quarterly shows - think art shows, fashion shows, theater performances including even the youngest babies. Seeing our little one grow through their stage experiences was unique and quite amazing. Our two-three year old teacher was phenomenal and so, so patient with us as we worked our way through potty training. Things have changed slightly with the pandemic, the biggest being communication. Pre-pandemic you could go into the classroom every day and get an individual breakdown of your child's day. Now there is less communication, which is an area that could use some improvement. They are quick to respond to emails, so this is the easiest way to address specific concerns. There seems to be more turnover of teachers and staff since the pandemic, too. There were a few chaotic days - think underwear child coming home in a pull-up and missing masks, but nothing of major concern. The positive to come from pandemic changes was much less sickness. Pre-pandemic we would get the usual seasonal colds and runny noses; pandemic and on, we saw much less sickness. My child was there most of the pandemic (as we are essential workers) and (knock on wood) we remain Covid free. We would certainly recommend Rainforest and we're sad to leave!

If you are reading this review because you are thinking of sending your child here please keep going. Our daughter started attending Rainforest since she was 4 months old. There was never a moment that I doubted the teachers that were in charge of her care. Everyone always greeted us with a warm welcome at drop off and pick up. They always kept us up to date with her progress and when she was ready to move on to the next class. Whenever we picked her up she was always very happy. As time went by and she got older And could communicate more I started noticing all of the amazing things she knew and repeated that she had been learning. Definitely things that we had not touched on at home. All of the teachers that were in charge of her have been a huge part of her development and I am forever grateful for that. Every two weeks we received an update about what they were learning and it definitely showed when she was home. She loved running in and hugged everyone as she got to her room. We had to move and her last day was a few weeks ago. After looking at daycares where we currently live I can say with certainty that Rainforest is one of a kind. If you have the opportunity to send your kid, go for it. i wish I could have brought them with us to the suburbs!
