OKC Heartland Montessori

Our daughter has learned so much at this school and she has become so independent. The teachers are wonderful and our daughter loves them and her classmates.

We are beyond happy with OKC Heartland Montessori School! Our daughter loves going every day and has already learned so much. Her confidence has improved in the few months she’s been going here and we’ve been incredibly impressed with her excitement and love for learning! Mrs. Mandy and Ms. Jessica are both amazing teachers that truly care about children. They even did a home visit to get to know our daughter in her own environment before we started at their school to make the transition to a new school much easier. We highly recommend HMS and are so lucky to be a part of this school!

My grandchild attends school here. I have visited a few times. It is very different than school when I was growing up! The entire day is structured, but activities are very "student-led." Depending on what each child is focused on or interested in at that time, that is what they work on. They work on projects independently or separate, depending on how they want to work that day. Each child is so respected and the teachers take careful notes on each child's progress and what they are working on. I also love the mixed age classroom; it's 3-6 year olds together. Each child is respected and treated as an individual. They really listen to the kids. Every child is growing in confidence and since they work so independently, they aren't constantly comparing themselves (or being compared) to other students. Each child works at his own pace. The teachers are kind and loving, but also firm and experienced. I feel they really have an expertise. This is a great school.
