Oak Grove Montessori School

My son has gone to Oak Grove for a few years for pre-k and summer school. I love this school and he has excelled there! His reading level soared after being at Oak Grove. Ms. Sarah has done so much with him! Love this school and would definitely recommend it.

My daughter attended another local daycare in Springdale, and we were not satisfied at all. A friend recommended OGMS to us, so we decided to check it out. We were amazed, to say the least, and immediately registered our daughters. We've been at OGMS for almost four years and have loved every minute of it. I am a teacher myself and took many classes in college that taught us about the Montessori model. OGMS follows that model and truly inspires a love for discovery and learning with the children. A couple of things I love about OGMS compared to other local preschools is the love for their children. So many daycares are obsessed with numbers and making sure they stay within their numbers even if it means moving children around to random classrooms or putting random teachers in a classroom - that does not promote stability. At OGMS, they have the same teachers (no matter if there are 5 kids or 25 kids). My girls have also had the same teachers their entire four years - no teacher turnaround!!!!!!! This is HUGE - they obviously treat their employees with respect. OGMS has become a family to us, and we will be so sad to leave them when the time comes for kindergarten.

Before moving out of state we sent both of our sons to Oak Grove. Tonight we looked at some old pictures and decided that we should share a post letting everyone how special a time this was for us as a family. An incredible staff made this experience one that we greatly miss and and will take with us forever. Thanks to everyone at Oak Grove.
