Northshore Academy for Children

This was a wonderful place for my daughter, who came from not a previous good experience (from another daycare). They were so patient, caring that it has been almost 2.years and my daughter still remembers everyone with love 💕 Thank you

We are really enjoying this preschool! There’s a fancy chain Montessori school nearby, but we much prefer the smaller, independent (and more affordable!) vibe of Northshore. Our toddler started here when he turned 2, so has only been there for 6 months, but we are happy enough that we’re switching from 3 days a week to 5. He’s thriving!

My daughter started at Northshore Academy for Children in August 2023. This was the first time she had been in a school/day care setting (pandemic baby). We chose the academy because we saw positive recommendations from local parent groups and went on a positive tour. From our tour we saw children that were engaged in a variety of activities, a clean facility, and caring teachers. All of that and more is what we have experienced in our time being part of the NSA family. My daughter loves going to school daily, seeing her friends, and her teachers. She has also developmentally made leaps and bounds. I love the Montessori education and how they follow the children's lead. My daughter is learning responbilities that are age and developmentally appropriate. We love that this is an academy run by 3 women of color who truly care about their students. I love the diversity of the student population and the opportunities that they have created for us as parents to be involved in the school and meet other families. Truly I feel so lucky to have my daughter attending this amazing school and if we have any other children they will come to the academy. I highly recommend the school and encourage you to set up a tour to see for yourself!
