This has been a great school for my son and daughter. They love their teachers and are thriving. The new principle is great and sends frequent communications via email and "Morse Code Monday" videos. I wish GRPS could invest more into nicer facilities, but that is a systemic school inequality issue and not the fault of GRPS. The parking lot and drop-off/pick-up situation isn't ideal and the school grounds only get the bare minimum attention. I agree with all of the kids that state the food isn't great, but that's not unique to North Park by any means.

We love this school for so many reasons, the teachers, support staff, and principal are amazing.

its okay, the kids can be quite strange. If you're looking for a relationship at this school i wouldn't count on it, focus on the education part because the way things are taught here are very interesting. The food is alright, the grilled cheese can taste like rubber but that's besides the point. If you're looking for some sort of simple school where things aren't super crazy at all, then this is for you.

Aside from the school building, North Park was community gathering place back in the day. Not anymore. Until the 1990's the 4+ baseball diamonds, several tennis courts, a nice playground and a skating rink with warming hut brought people together. Now the focus is on keeping the weeds from growing too high.
