Mt. Clemens Montessori Academy

The bullying here is not handled period. My son went through serious health issues due to lack of control and care from the staff. We had three children in this school, and pulled them all out. They are all thriving better than they ever had. Mrs Aga and Asfa are incredible, so is Mrs Sarah in the office. However, everything else is a hot mess. It's basically a school of choice for bully's, or kids who aren't controlled at home, so they are crazy at school. I'm only writing this, because we moved and my kids are completely different children. My son said he didn't feel safe there, my daughter said the kids are mean and teachers don't do anything about it, and my youngest would cry DAILY when he had to go. NOW, they run to the bus and are so happy. The teachers and staff at the new schools communication is impeccable, and they don't take bullying period. Also my son's fifth grade teacher said he needed to be held back (when his test scores are incredible) ... At his new school he is in excelled math class Excel reading classes and excelled science. Save your kids mental health and find somewhere else. Seriously.

I have three children that attend here and they love it. The classes are small and the teachers and staff are so helpful and friendly. My son especially has had trouble socially since he started school (entering 5th grade now) and they've helped him improve his behavior significantly. The teachers also do a great job of helping all students academically, and don't let them get bored or fall behind.

I am currently in-rolled in this school, they do not handle bullying well. Me and my friend are currently getting bullied, the school knows and doesn’t care at all. They teachers allow the children to snap and yell at them, this is not the place to send your child. You can’t trust them, ever since the last principle retired this school has been let down. I am currently in the last grade there and I’m glad i’m leaving. I’m currently getting bullied by a donators child, and the school wont get that kid in trouble. Overall don’t send your child to this school.

Great school. Staff has handled the complications from COVID very well.
