We were very sure about the Montessori education for our little one. We just needed to pick the school that did a great job with it. Looking back - we could not be happier. School had likeminded families and kids, awesome teachers and efficient staff! School kept a sense of "normalcy" even during the pandemic. One of the first schools to adopt and adapt to the new "normal" and kept the kids engaged and made sure they did not miss a day with in-person schooling. School provided overall development - practical life, science, geography, math, language, music, Spanish, social skills, mindfulness and much more. Our son would wait for the weekend to get over so that he can go back to school. Best part of us was the creative journals he wrote and teaching us the yoga poses that he learned at school. Thank you Montessori Montgomery School. Years attended - 2 years.

We are extremely grateful for all the teachers and staff at the school. Our toddler has learned and progressed so much in the past year. He enjoys circle time and outdoor play with friends, crafts, writing, yoga class, Spanish class and all types of fun activities. When he was the youngest in the classroom he learned from the bigger kids. As he grows he’s been encouraged to help the little ones. During the pandemic, the teachers and staff at the school always prioritized everyone’s health and safety and we’ve been very fortunate to have such a successful school year. More activities are coming back and we look forward to another amazing year ahead!

Montgomery Montessori School in Skillman is hands down the best early education program in the area that you could provide for your child. Being a teacher myself, I am very particular about the education my children receive. However, even in the midst of a pandemic, I never worried about the education provided to my children. My three year old has amazing handwriting already. My five year old is reading chapter books and comes home beaming about the journals he has written. They are intrinsically excited to learn and I credit this to their passionate teachers. Every day they came home excited to share their "work" including things I didn't imagine they would be doing at such an early age. We are very lucky to have discovered a full day kindergarten option instead of half day. In addition to the expected handwriting, reading, and math instruction, they learned how to sew, studied continents, participated in science experiments, learned (and retained!) Spanish, participated in mindfulness activities, had picnics outside, built a garden, and the list goes on and on. This is a school that works hard to build community and communication with parents. Due to the Montessori model, children are teamed up with a range of ages. For example, the primary room ranges from ages 3-6. This allows for students to learn those important life skills of how to work with others especially of differing ages. Plus, teachers really get to know your child over the years. This year brought many challenges, but the school administration team worked together to ensure our children stayed safe and school remained open. They were always very responsive to any questions or comments and for that, I'm grateful. We are very fortunate to have found Montgomery Montessori and highly recommend you pursue your child's early education through them!

Such a warm environment for children! They always greet our son with smiles and we can’t wait to send our daughter there. It’s also incredible how independent he has become since going there. We thank the amazing staff, directors, and teachers! ❤️

My 2.5 year old has been in this school since 3 months old and we are so happy that we chose this school. While my wife and I had some critiques early on, after management changed hands within the last two years we really changed our minds about the value of the school for our son. Nina has done an amazing job bringing in new resources that were lacking with previous management. We now feel our child is much safer and benefiting greatly from the care provided by the current staff. We would recommend this school to anyone looking to offer their child an immensely useful education in early years.
