Montessori School of San Francisco

I would highly recommend Montessori School of San Francisco. My son has been attending this daycare for the past 3 months and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care he has received. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and age-appropriate. There is plenty of space for the children to play and explore, both indoors and outdoors. My son has made so many new friends at daycare and he loves Ms. Vasi.

My son Taylor was blessed by attending Montessori with Ms. Vasi and staff from 3 months to kindergarten when he transferred to St. Vincent de Paul grammar school. Following St. Vincent de Paul he attended St. Ignatius College Prep and achieved his degree 4 years later at Seattle University. Now 24 years old, Taylor has been working for the Attorney General’s office in the state of Hawaii! Thanks to Montessori, Ms. Vasi, and staff, Taylor has grown into a grounded, kind, and happy young man. There is no doubt the foundation for Taylor’s success came from Ms Vasi and staff. I am soooo thankful that Taylor had the opportunity to spend his formative years with Montessori and am sooo grateful for Ms. Vasi and staff. If you have a child age 3 months to 5 years old and are looking for a school to send your infant/child then there is no better place in SF to send your loved one! Our 3 kids (1, 1 and 4) are always happy to get to school in the morning, and Ms. Vasi and the teachers are genuinely happy to see them! We loved that they took babies as young as 3 months. Even after we moved farther away, we never considered moving our oldest daughter to a new, more geographically-convenient school; she was just too happy there. During covid, they thoughtfully made custom activity kits for our daughter to work on at home. The early 7:30 am start time and late 6:00 pm end time are much more convenient that most other options!

As new parents we were extremely nervous to leave our son with someone we did not know. Ms. Vasi put us at ease during the interviewing process because it was clear to us that she and all of the teachers are so loving and caring with every single student. Our son, at 5 months old, is excited to get to school where his mind is stimulated and he is well taken care of. We feel extremely lucky to have found this safe and caring team. We highly recommend the Montessori School of San Francisco!

My daughter has been at Montessori School of SF since she was 1 yrs old. Ms. Vasi and her staff have done a great job. She loves going to school in the morning and is always happy at the end of the day.

Our two boys have been going to the Montessori School of San Francisco since they were very young and we could not be happier with our experience at the school. The teachers are not only loving, but truly are invested in the children’s education and development. The environment is friendly, warm, and welcoming; and both our boys have thrived from an early age. They are now ages 3 and 5 and we feel that each of the classrooms have fostered their curiosity for learning. Ms. Vasi has truly been a mentor to us, and has become a part of our family. She has helped us navigate through some challenging stages of parenting and has partnered with us to achieve specific outcomes (potty training, naps, etc). This school is a place where children feel accepted and loved, and we highly recommend it for any family looking at schools for their children.

Our daughter started to attend this daycare when she was just 3 months old. Given how nervous we were about her leaving the house so young, we could not have found a sweeter, more caring group of caregivers, led by very experienced Ms. Vasi. The school has been open for over 30 years and many of their staff have worked with the school for more than 15-20 years. They are very dedicated to children, highly communicative, and precise in reporting what happened to the child daily. I recommend this school highly and I am available for a reference if anyone would like to chat.

Our daughter has been in Miss Mirna’s class since last year. She absolutely LOVES it. When we get to school she always has a big smile on her face and doesn’t even say goodbye to me as she walks in. Ms Vasi and all of the teachers are super communicative. They tel us what’s going on at school and collaborate with us on things like moving past baby bottles and pacifiers. We’re really happy with Montessori SF and would (and have!) recommend to family and friends.

We absolutely love the Montessori School of the Bay Area, Ms. Vasi, and all of its wonderful teachers! As first-time parents living far away from our family and without much community, we had no idea where to go in terms of early childcare. We looked at several daycares, but once we found Ms. Vasi and the Montessori School of the Bay Area, we knew we'd found the right place. I love that Sofia gets exposure to Spanish (which we speak at home) and, most importantly, all of the loving care and attention she needs. We enrolled our daughter at 3.5 months and she has been learning and developing at what feels like lightening speed! Ms. Estella and Ms. Elisa are such wonderful teachers and care givers - our daughter immediately lights up when he seems them, as well as Ms. Vasi, who is so much more than the school director. She is involved in the day-to-day with all of the kids, shows them so much love and joy, and is such an amazing resource for parents. The fact that our daughter can't wait to go to school and is so smiley and happy from drop off to pick up speaks for itself! We are so grateful to have found this wonderful school!
