Our daughter has gone to MKU since she was 14 weeks old. The staff love her so well and she is thriving academically. We’ve been so grateful for MKU Hoover and the sweet staff there

We love this place! My little one is excited to go everyday and the owner and teachers truly care about her!

My experience with this school from Day 1 was always very professional. You can always tell the ones who just come for a pay check and the ones who actually love their job. By the end of the trial period they knew who my child was without me even having to explain to them. They picked up on her behaviors which is always a A-plus in my book. My child enjoys getting up everyday for school. Which before was such a difficult process never did understand why she didn’t want to stay in her old school until I came here. My daughter loves it here as soon as she gets through the doors she’s telling everyone student or teacher good morning because she is so excited to be there. This school really does do a good job making sure you are highly informed on everything. And when I mean everything I mean everything. It’s makes me feel great knowing that no matter what my child is in good hands. Leaving from a school who only counted my child as another number. This school truly has left my child with a lifelong passion for learning. I couldn’t thank this school enough for what they have did for my child and family. If you had a choice to enroll your child here please do as soon as you can.

My daughter has been at this school since 3m old. She has always been cared for, spoiled with lots of love, and taught well. At 2, she already sings to me her ABCs, sounds out letters, and communicates well. More importantly, she walks into school most mornings confident and happy. When it’s time to leave, she hardly wants to leave. As a healthcare worker, we are thankful MKU opens at 6am and closes at 6pm. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers, staff, and esp the sweet kitchen staff who have loved my daughter well and will continue!

Both of my sons have absolutely blossomed during their time at MKU! Teachers and staff are all extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. When my older son was struggling with big feelings, the entire school stepped up to help him manage those emotions in a way that worked for him. I have also been so impressed with the gains in learning we’ve seen with my younger son. My older son was well prepared for the transition to kindergarten last year, and I have no doubt my younger son will do equally well next year!

Overall, my child was safe during his time at MKU, and he had some great teachers, though two of the three left after a short time of working there. The communication from administration/front office was poor, ratios and group sizes were stretched to the max so when teachers were out it was chaotic, lots of staff turnover, my child stayed sick, and the quality of food provided wasn’t what was initially promised. Tuition prices increased twice in a year and a half. An “activity fee” of $400 was required, and when I asked the owner about this fee, I couldn’t figure out which activities this fee was for. She eventually said the fee was to accommodate for the increased cost of food and to replace broken toys (which is what I thought the tuition increases were for). During our time there, it felt very much like a money making business to the owners, not like the focus was on what was best for the children or the staff. It wasn’t all bad. I never had concerns about my child’s safety, and the facility is beautiful. If you’re looking for a safe daycare, this is a good option. If you’re looking for your child to have a true Montessori experience, this is not it.

Love this school. They care so much for my son, loving and nurturing him each day. He comes home learning so much and repeating all sorts of information back to me. They help reinforce good manners, potty training, kindliness and independence. Cannot recommend enough.
