The staff at Monmouth Montessori School is exceptional: highly knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, and passionate about enacting high-fidelity Montessori education. It's evident that they genuinely care about each individual child's well-being and strive to provide an atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. Children are seen as whole people. The classrooms are thoughtfully organized to promote hands-on learning and independence. I appreciate how each child has the freedom to explore their own interests and work at their own pace, fostering a love for learning and individual growth. The materials used are beautiful, enticing, engaging, and specifically tailored to meet the needs of each child. One of the wonderful aspects of MMS is their focus on creating a sense of community. They encourage parent involvement and regularly host events to facilitate open communication between families, staff, and the children. In addition to the academic curriculum, MMS also places a strong emphasis on character formation, kindness, and respect for all living things. I witnessed firsthand how the children interact with each other, demonstrating kindness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility. MMS is a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive educational environment. The dedication of the staff, the engaging curriculum, and the emphasis on community and social responsibility make it an exceptional place for children to grow, learn, and thrive. My child loves going to school everyday (and loves reading and maths); I am beyond grateful for this school in our community.

Our family LOVES the Monmouth Montessori School. We are finishing up our 4th year of having children in the school and anxious to continue. Our daughter attended 2 years of preschool and her kindergarten year and our son is finishing up his second year of preschool and will continue with Kindergarten there next year along with his little sister starting preschool. Our children have thrived in the Montessori environment, which fosters independence, social skills, practical life skills, phonetic recognition, hands on math skills, writing, problem solving, sensorial development and so much more. The kids work together, learning, teaching each other and will also independently find their work and keep focused without too much guidance. I'm amazed each and every time I visit the school just how wonderfully all of the children work together. I can't recommend this school enough!!! Juliet and Megan are so kind, gentle, and loving with our children and have made a huge impact in their young lives. Tuition is incredibly reasonable and the children love going every day. The school runs closely with the Central School District schedule, starting in September and finishing mid-June.
