Mini Montessori of Houston

A Montessori environment was important to us, and MINI Montessori and Ms. Jenny (AMI Certified!) are gems. Having a COVID era kid, the idea of suddenly leaving her at school was tough on both of us. Ms. Jenny eased us in with above and beyond flexibility while our daughter got comfortable. Our daughter is now eager to go to school, and loves all the work that she does. We appreciate all that MINI and Ms. Jenny offer. We receive daily communications, which I love. There is also a strong community vibe throughout the school. Sometimes I wish I could attend!

We really appreciate the flexibility that Mini Montessori offers. We toured a bunch of Montessori schools but Mini was the only school that allowed us to phase in our daughter by only doing a few half days for a few months and then transitioning over the semester to 3 full days. Ms. Jenny even let me stay with our daughter for the first few days because our daughter was very nervous about starting school. We love that our daughter is ALWAYS excited to go to school, looking forward to it after a break and she really has fun learning. A perfect environment!

I wanted to share our incredible experience transitioning our 2-year-old son from home care to school, thanks to Ms. Jenny McClure at Mini Montessori of Houston. From our first interaction, Ms. Jenny was welcoming and answered all our questions. We met her at a community day, where she gave us a tour and introduced us to other families. To help our son adjust, Ms. Jenny suggested home visits, which made a huge difference. She provided valuable tips for enhancing his Montessori experience at home. These visits started in late 2023 and have been game-changers for us! With community days, home visits, and customized support, Ms. Jenny has made our son's learning experience wonderful. We are so grateful for her positive impact on his development and our parenting. I highly recommend her consulting services to everyone.

Our toddler attended summer camp here and loved it. Children have access to the large outdoor play area and the indoor classroom. This is a small, hands on summer camp. Each week features a different lesson and a chance for the children to interact with nature (ie, play outside and get dirty!). Camp takes care of the clean up, and a cleaned up, satisfied, tired child comes home to you. Ms. Jenny is an AMI certified primary guide, and the programming reflects her extensive training. Ms. Jenny is also a natural with children. Our child still talks about Ms. Jenny and the summer camp.
