Mi Escuelita Montessori

English: In 2023, my son and I went to visit many daycares and schools. In all of them, my son did not want to stay because he was afraid or he was simply not used to it. One day we went to visit Mi Escuelita Montessori and met Marta, who from the first moment she made a connection with my son. I remember that my son wanted to play with all the activities he saw. She respectfully asked me for a few minutes to give the child an activity so that we, the adults, could talk without interruption. In my other interviews with other teachers, they were more focused on letting me know the place without giving much importance to the child's interactions. Instead, she first connected with the child, filled his need, and was then able to connect with me. That moment was crucial for me to realize that this was the place to take my child to school. On the other hand, Marta cares about creating the atmosphere of her school as a family environment, where you feel welcome from the first moment you enter the door. With all this I can say that Marta gives her love to her children as a mother or a grandmother would do. Her vocation and love for them is inexplicable. I also love that she is bilingual in English and Spanish and so the kids will be bilingual as she. My family highly recommend Marta. I hope there were more teachers like her in the Bozeman/Belgrade area. Español: En el 2023, mi hijo y yo fuimos a visitar muchas guarderías y escuelas. En todas, mi hijo no quería quedarse porque tenía miedo o simplemente no estaba acostumbrado. Un día fuimos a visitar Mi Escuelita Montessori y conocí a Marta, quien desde el primer momento hizo una conexión con mi hijo. Recuerdo que mi hijo quería jugar con todas las actividades que veía. Ella respetuosamente me pidió unos minutos para darle una actividad al niño para que los adultos pudiéramos hablar sin interrupciones. En mis otras entrevistas con otras maestras, se enfocaron más en darme a conocer el lugar sin darle mucha importancia a las interacciones del niño. En cambio, ella primero conectó con el niño, llenó su necesidad y luego pudo conectar conmigo. Ese momento fue crucial para que me diera cuenta de que ese era el lugar para llevar a mi hijo a la escuela. Por otro lado, Marta se preocupa por crear el ambiente de su escuela como un ambiente familiar, donde te sientes bienvenido desde el primer momento que entras por la puerta. Con todo esto puedo decir que Marta entrega su amor a sus hijos como lo haría una madre o una abuela. Su vocación y amor por ellos es inexplicable. También me encanta que sea bilingüe en Inglés y Español y así los niños serán bilingües como ella. Mi familia recomienda mucho a Marta. Ojalá hubiera más maestras como ella en Bozeman/Belgrade.

Mi Escuelita Montessori has been a wonderful experience for both my child and family! Mrs. Martha is extremely knowledgeable and professional in regards to Montessori education and most importantly, fosters a safe and welcoming environment. We have seen such tremendous growth with our child not only in academics, but his social, independent, and language skills. Mrs. Martha encourages a school community that is inclusive, diverse, and meets the needs of individual students as well as provides families with opportunities to engage and collaborate with each other. As a school community, we have participated in celebrations/holidays, programs, and recreational activities such as camping and family cook-outs. We highly recommend Mi Escuelita Montessori as a quality school/child-care choice!

Our child is excited about going to school everyday! Martha is wonderful with children and the Montessori learning style has really helped our child grow in every way. Highly recommend this school.
