Our son Michael began attending Mary's Montessori when he was two and a half years old. We were drawn in by how many different subjects would be part of his curriculum and that he would not be limited to learn because of his age. We immediately saw him beginning to learn all sorts of new things from the months of the year, the solar system and geography, all before the age of three. Since it is not a large school, there is a great deal of individualized attention and focus. Michael is now four and is mastering math and spelling, and even science! There is a garden at the school and not only do the children plant seeds and care for the plants, but they are taught the intricacies of what makes up a seed and how it grows. Michael has become a very well rounded child with interests that range from sports to arts and his imagination is boundless. We attribute much of this healthy development to his time at Mary's Montessori.

Our family has been a part of Mary's Montessori Community for almost 4 years. From the moment our very shy daughter first met Lynn Larkin at her center, she was immediately at ease. That was enough for us to choose her as our daycare provider. As first time parents my husband and I were unfamiliar with the Montessori method, but we like the confidence and independence it has given our children over the years. We also like that our children, being just under two years apart in age, can be together. In addition to the essential life skills pre-math and reading skills have recently been incorporated at her indication of readiness. "Academics" are not pushed, and Lynn offers an environment where children are encouraged to explore on their own and just be children. Now that our eldest is almost 5, we feel that she is very ready for kindergarten in the fall. As an in-home daycare center, we are very impressed with the resources which Mary's Montessori Community has to offer. Though the tuition rates are comparable to a national franchise private daycare center, it is well worth it; Mary's Montessori Community offers everything that they do with a more close-knit sense of community. It is evident that Lynn puts a lot of money and thought back into her business to be sure that the children have everything they need to be comfortable, happy, and adequately stimulated. She, her employees, and even her family make Mary's Montessori Community a school that I would highly recommend to anyone.
