Little Acorn Montessori Academy

We just started Little Acorn for our daughter (first time mom here) and the staff have been so amazing and caring in making sure she is able to transition to a school environment. I love all the activities they have students engage in as well as the updates they share daily about her progress. There is a sense of engagement and community at the school that we feel so grateful to be part of.

We were fortunate enough to have our son attend this academy for almost two years. The staff is very welcoming and invested in the development of the children. It is very secure and the age groups/classes are well organized. They have a wonderful outdoor area for all age groups and are very active and thorough communicating through the ProCare app with pictures etc. The only reason we are leaving is because we are moving out of the area. Highly recommended!

After doing a lot of research in the area for the perfect school for our son, we decided to tour Little Acorns and fell in love. The teachers, staff, clean facilities, comprehensive curriculum, beautiful playground, and Montessori philosophy were the main reasons why we choose to have our son attend here for school. His teacher was Ms. Edina and she did such a marvelous job at encouraging his learning and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for him to grow. We were very happy with our experience and time at Little Acorns and would recommend any parent to check it out for themselves.

Little Acorn Montessori Academy was a blessing for our little family. Their kind, committed professionals helped our daughter become the confident young lady she is from ages 1-5! She is in her final week before transitioning to a “big girl” school for the fall, and as parents we feel very prepared to send her on to the next step of her journey, with much thanks to the staff and curriculum at Little Acorn. The weekly changing focus kept her interested and excited to get to school each day, and as parents we certainly noticed how the core of the program has helped her socially and at home. She just loves completing tasks! And genuinely helpful ones at that. She went from a shy product of the lonely pandemic to the outgoing, caring, bubbly personality we cherish today thanks to the bonds she made with her peers on the playground and in the classrooms of this special place. We couldn’t be happier to have chosen Little Acorn: The staff, curriculum, special activities offered, flexibility, and positive vibe of the place were a perfect fit for these two hardworking parents.

Little Acorn was recommended to us by our friends and we have had an amazing experience there! This was our first daycare experience so we weren't sure what to expect but we love how responsive the staff and teachers were, how clean the facility is, the curriculum they put together, and the hours they offer (the extended day option goes from 7am-6pm which is great for the working parents). The teachers are very hands on and get to know each children very well (even the siblings that don't go to school there yet). My son has been there for almost 3 years now and I'm so happy to see how much he has grown, both academically and emotionally. The school fosters a sense of community so everyone treats each other respectfully and they all pitch in to help and share with each other. We will miss this when he starts Kindergarten in August but we highly recommend Little Acorn to any parents who are looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

I think we got lucky in finding Little Acorn during the pandemic and were able to get our son into the toddler class easily. I felt at ease knowing he was in great care. The teachers were always caring and I appreciated the updates they sent me throughout the day through the app. Whenever I dropped him off, I never had any hesitations about his safety or how he was being treated by all the staff. He has grown so much since starting in the toddler classroom. He is now in the Primary 1 classroom and he loves his class and learning. He likes the teachers, the rotation of jobs, and the different subjects he learns. He is leaving this fall to attend kindergarten at our local school, but we will be sending our daughter there when she is old enough!

After a few attempts to finding the right preschool for our daughter. Little acorn more than exceeded our expectations as parents. We noticed our daughter start to develop an interest in learning since she was having fun all the while. She also developed healthy social skills with her peers. As parents, my wife and I definitely appreciated that the parents of our child’s peers shared similar views and parenting styles. My wife and I highly recommend Little acorn to all parents.
