Learn and play is a place where my child loves to go and it’s doing the best in making children feel safe and comfortable with good teachers with good curriculum☺️

I highly recommend LAPMS Milpitas. We started when my child was 22 months old and we were constantly amazed by the quality of care and attention to child’s overall development at this school. Our child did take a little extra longer to adjust to the school setting, however Ms. Selva kept reassuring us to believe in the process and guided us as needed. My child now looks forward to entering the campus with warm greetings from Ms. Cassandra, Ms.Karen and the entire front desk team. Her class teachers Ms.Subra, Ms.Dhana and Ms.Kat are exceptionally dedicated and focused on the child’s well being and growth.

UPDATE 9/11: it seems the school has responded so here is my response: you were not able to provide sufficient evidence to a parent that your teacher did not hit their child. I am supposed to take your word for it? FYI to all- CPS can not obtain surveillance footage under all conditions I.e visible injuries on child. This footage can be tampered with in the meantime and may not even be seen. Our case worker said they didn’t view footage so not sure why this account is lying in response? My child did not incur visible injury so this case was taken lighter than others would have. Regardless, if lying, lack of transparency, and business minded motives are what you look for in an establishment, this is a choice to consider. It is quite disappointing to be writing this review, but at the end of the day, this is a "business" looking at their bottomline v.s what parents may think is the "mission statement" of a preschool. My child attended this school for 3 months before we had to pull him out. He came home and reported his teacher had hit him. We were initially so shocked as this facility had glowing reviews and seemed like a well-run operation. Our pediatrician evaluated him and determined that he was telling the truth and indeed he was hit, so a Child Protective Services case was opened against this facility. I approached the Administrator who seemed empathetic and understanding initially. She seemed surprised and said she would review the film. A few days later she let me know that there was nothing in the film to prove that my son was hit by his teacher. I had a feeling this would happen so I then asked to review the film with her and she denied me of doing so, stating this was a violation of children's policy. What violation? I am able to walk in at any time of the day and watch my child's classroom from the window for as long as I want? How is that not the same as watching surveillance footage WITH the administrator? If this wasn't a franchise location with God knows how much legal protection behind their failed policies, they may have been shut down or at least investigated further, but our CPS case was closed. If your child has limited verbal abilities, I implore to think carefully about your decision if this is a place you are considering.

We recently enrolled our child at Learn and Play Montessori, Milpitas and we couldn't be happier with our decision! The admins at the front desk Ms. Cassandra and Ms. Karen are courteous and responsive! They made the enrollment process a breeze for us! Our child's teachers Ms. Seema, Ms. Rinku, Ms. Anita, Ms. Loretta are extremely caring, making sure that all children feels safe, loved and encouraged in the classroom. The curriculum is well balanced to blend both Montessori and STEM learning. In addition, the facility is well maintained and the classrooms are well organized. Communication with the staff is effortless--they keep us updated regularly on our child’s progress and are open to any questions or concerns we might have. The director Ms. Selva is incredible and always ready to go above and beyond to make us feel at ease, assuring our child's wellbeing while at school. The same goes for the new assistant director Ms. Chitra. Overall LAPMS-Milpitas has exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child!

LAPMS is an outstanding school. We enrolled our daughter when she was 18 months old, and we have been impressed with the quality of the teachers and staff. I’ve observed significant improvement in her communication and her engagement with Montessori day-to-day activities. The teachers collaborate with parents to address any areas where the child may need additional support. Overall, our experience with the school has been excellent. A special thanks to Miss Alyssa, Miss Thi, Miss Edith, Miss Karen, and Miss Cassandra for their exceptional dedication.

LAPMS - Milpitas is a fantastic school where students get personal attention. I would like to thank the wonderful teachers Miss Selva, Seema, Rinku, Anita, Loritta, and the staff miss Karen and Cassandra for the love and support we got. The teachers do a great job at helping students build an amazing foundation and expand the horizons with sports, music, books and more. The school has an amazing outside play area, on campus food and extra curricular activities to participate in. Our daughter enjoyed every bit of it at LAPMS - Milpitas. We strongly recommend this school!

My experience at LAPMS Milpitas has been nothing but positive, carefree, and delightful. After enrolling my daughter at the start of the program in September, I was able to see how amazing the teachers are in the Milpitas location to acclimatize the children to school life, the management team be responsible and prepared, and the front desk team be nothing but lovely and accepting of both the children and the parents. Ms.Karen and Ms.Cassandra are wonderful in inviting families in to drop off their children, and create a wholesome environment. Ms.Selva, the director of the preschool truly cares about each and every child’s experience in LAPMS, and as a parent, it is comforting to know that my child is truly being taken care of by the teachers and the management. I want to also credit Ms.Loretta, one of the staff, for her dedication to making the early morning drop off as simple and easy for the parent and for the child. I definitely recommend LAPMS to any new parent who is nervous about the preschool education process, as LAPMS works to make it as easygoing and friendly for both the children and the parents!

As one of the first members to join this preschool after it reopened, I've had a firsthand view of its growth and development. With two children enrolled in different age groups, I've experienced the school's offerings across multiple levels. The aftercare program, although lacking pickup and drop-off services, stands out for its strong focus on STEM curriculum. Weekly reading assignments enrich the academic experience, although I've noticed a heavier emphasis on maths in the morning half, which unfortunately clashes with my daughter's school hours. Over the past ten months, I've seen classroom sizes grow, accompanied by the welcome addition of more teaching assistants. This shift has ensured better individual attention and support for the children, a commendable improvement. Communication with teachers has been consistently open and productive. Parent-teacher conferences, conducted in a traditional face-to-face format, allowed for detailed discussions about my child's strengths, weaknesses, and strategies for improvement. The teachers' deep understanding of each child's personality and needs is truly impressive. Transitioning my slow-learning child from a home-based daycare to the school setting was initially challenging, particularly in terms of speech and academics. He has made significant progress. While I had to initiate the potty training process, ongoing communication and consistent instructions between home and school have yielded positive results. Daily notes from teachers about my child's activities, meals, and restroom breaks have been invaluable in understanding and planning for their needs. The school's courtesy calls for minor incidents or concerns demonstrate a proactive approach to parental involvement. Overall, my experience has been positive, highlighted by dedicated teachers and a supportive environment. Areas for improvement include enhancing the aftercare program's popularity and ensuring better accommodations during events for aftercare students. The addition of pickup and drop-off services would be a significant convenience for parents.
