We are thrilled to be a part of KMS! Our 3 year old is thriving in a classroom environment where exploration is encouraged and the diversity of the world is celebrated. Ms. Amanda and Mrs. Kim adore all of the children in his class, and they are easily accessible for any questions that may arise. The administration provides both a safe setting and an incredible amount of organization from which both students and parents benefit. During these frustrating pandemic months, as a parent you want a grounding, positive influence in the life of your child--and that is what this school provides. As we get ready to welcome a new child into the world, we look forward to calling KMS home for many years to come.

KMS is a magical place. My children started attending when they were 3 and had a wonderful experience. The teachers treat students with respect, the students learn from one other, their inner light and love for learning continue to grow there. Given that KMS is in an old house, it has a homey vibe and the community feels like one big family. The elementary classes are particularly amazing because the students have so much control over their learning, so much freedom within the age appropriate boundaries. My hope is that 'adulting' won't seem so hard to them when they get older because they've had so much practice since they were little. We have toured almost all the other Montessori schools around and the dynamic at KMS is something special.

Our family has felt at home at KMS. What an enriching, safe and caring environment for our child to learn, socialize with peers who are different from her, and walk her own path as she explores her independence and interests. We have nothing but appreciation for the care with which the school has navigated Covid, admin and teachers working tirelessly and doing their best at every turn to thoughtfully protect students, teachers, and families, while doing everything they can to stay open and continue to offer a true Montessori environment. In this uncertain time, we have felt fortunate to call KMS home and look forward to our kids' future there, especially as the school plans to expand.

KMS is more than a school! It’s a Wonderful community. It’s so welcoming and allowing the kids to be kids and at the same time teaching them life skills. I looked for a place that would be diverse, that would give personal attention for my child and KMS is definitely that place.

My child started KMS at the age of 3, being a very social only child, this was the place she needed! In true Montessori form, she learned so much from the staff and other children. Each lesson that was presented to her, even at such an early age, was laying the ground work for the more advanced math, science, reading that she would learn later in life. I loved that KMS focuses on the entire child and how to be a good human, and well-rounded at that! Ms. Kuentz was amazing, she learned my child and was able to get the best out of my child! We love KMS!

We love KMS! It has been a great place for our kids to learn. We have been there since 2015 and continue to see our kids grow and be challenged. My oldest read at the age of 3 and he has been able to choose his path. As a 4th grader, I have really seen him take his learning to a new level. His teacher is amazing. My youngest is starting to read now and I love hearing about his progress from his exceptional teacher. Staff and teachers are helpful, open, and kind.

I simply cannot express how wonderful our experience was at KMS. My daughter was avidly reading at the age of 3 shortly after she started school there. This created a voracious love for reading that has her reading 2 to 3 grade levels above her current placement. Our daughter makes excellent eye contact and has wonderful speaking skills with people of any age. Overall, she is a confident student and is comfortable in a variety of situations. KMS taught our daughter excellent organizational skills, table manners, how to treat other people with kindness and to show respect to people of all walks of life. We could not be happier with KMS!
