Kennett Montessori at the YMCA

This is an incredible school. The teachers and admin are incredibly helpful and it helps kids thrive!

We would not recommend the preschool at this site. My son is much happier and positive at another preschool now.

Would not recommend this program or any program run by Jess Jones, the Senior Director there. First, she is unresponsive. If you try reaching her, you have two methods, her email which she doesn't respond to or her direct line ext 2320, you will get her voicemail. You will be lucky if you get a call back..or am email response for that matter. The school year is about to start and it is unclear if my child has been moved off the waitlist for the before care or after care. Besides the poor communication, or in this case the lack there of, the entire program is unorganized and chaotic, including the registration process. If you call or go in to ask anyone for extra information you are given wrong or constantly changing information. I would not recommend the Montessori program, the before care, the aftercare, and the K Care they offer when your child transitions to a elementary school. I presume she runs summer camp there as well, I will make sure my child is not involved in a Y based summer camp if she is in charge.
