J Allen Axson Montessori School

My daughter loves her school and always eagerly talks about lessons she learned from her teachers, which never happened with 2 of her previous elementary schools, depicting the effectiveness of teachers. All teachers are good in communicating with parents and students and they care about students learning and developing good character and overall wellbeing; they don't just narrowly focus on exam stats. About 95-98% of the children are well behaved, and most parents are actively involved in the classes and all volunteer opportunities. Take the 1 star reviews with a grain of salt

A gem amongst Duval county schools. Really good school. Newer, clean, organized. The teachers and principal are always in constant communication with parents. You have to be really lucky to be admitted (lottery) or pay to start your 3 year old there of you make it through the wait. But there's a reason behind it, well worth it for this school.

Terrible , they treat you like a baby and don't teach you dangers of the outside world. -trust me i went there
