Guidepost Montessori at Hurst

Guidepost Montessori has been an incredible experience for our family! I can’t recommend this school enough. The staff truly go above and beyond to create a welcoming, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children Teacher Yary and Assistant Teacher Ms. Sarah are absolutely amazing—they are patient, caring, and so skilled at connecting with the kids. We are always impressed by how much our little has learned and enjoys the school. The early drop off teachers/guides are also very welcoming and patient. My child looks forward to seeing them every day! The Assistant Director, Samantha, and Director, Jessica have been so helpful and approachable, always ready to answer questions and make sure parents feel supported. From the moment we first walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth and community. The school had a TON of events that make it inclusive for the community and are really well thought out and fun! I couldn’t recommend Guidepost Montessori more highly—it’s clear that the entire team is passionate about creating a positive learning experience. Thank you for all that you do!

Ms. Jessica and Ms. Sammi are amazing directors. They plan numerous family events throughout the year and greet each kid as they walk through the door. I love how secure the school is and appreciate that they change the door code frequently. Ms. Yary and Ms. Sarah are wonderful and nurturing teachers. They keep us up to date on our daughter’s progress and she runs out the door excited to head to school most mornings. I love how independent my daughter has become since joining the Montessori program. I can’t recommend this school enough!

I cannot express enough how much we love and appreciate the teachers at our daughters’ Montessori school. The level of care, professionalism, and love the staff provide is unmatched. Our daughters have grown so much, not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. We often receive comments from strangers on how advanced and well-rounded our kids are, and we know it’s thanks to the incredible guidance they receive at school. The nurturing environment fosters their curiosity and independence, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of this amazing community.

Our experience with Guidepost Montessori has been amazing. The care and attention our son receives has made our decision to transition him to a Montessori environment easy.. Our son has learned skills to help him be more independent in such a short time. We are very happy with their leadership and guides and would encourage anyone to take a tour to learn more about Guidepost.

The atmosphere at Guidepost - Hurst is one of family. We started when my daughter was 16 months in the infant class (just for a few weeks to get her ready) and then we transitioned to the toddler class. She is now 2.5 years old and we have seen her grow tremendously. Montessori curriculum has been amazing for her and it has helped her with discipline, vocabulary and follow through. When we started the school had just opened so we experienced a bit of turnover with lead teachers, but the staff always made sure to be transparent. We have LOVED our teachers and how they treat our children with love and kindness. I love over communication :) so the guides see that and ensure we are kept in the loop with pictures, emails and updates! Most importantly we know our little one is safe and happy! We love the Guidepost Hurst Family!

Our family deeply appreciates the community at Guidepost Montessori at Hurst. We enrolled our child in the Nido class and are so lucky to have found such an excellent place. Our baby loves her teachers more than anything. Along with the kind staff, the classroom and materials are top notch. After touring a number of places around the area, we loved that the babies had the space and freedom to move, unlike almost every other location we looked at. We get photos almost every day about what she has been doing and her progress. We are so thankful for this place and know it is setting the best foundation for our child.

We have been at Guidepost Hurst since it opened! Jessica (head of school) pours her heart and soul into this place and it shows in the kids smiles. My son feels so at home, never wants to leave school. Would recommend to everyone I know.

We love Guidepost! Our 4 year old has been going for almost a year now and we have had a wonderful experience. Not only do we love the Montessori views and practices, but the staff is nothing short of exceptional. Every guide and staff member we have encountered have been knowledgeable and caring. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Sammi (the head and assistant head of the school) are some of the most wonderful people I’ve met. They truly care about each and every child at that school and they always keep a very open line of communication with the parents. My daughter has some special medical needs and they became knowledgeable about her condition and always stay compliant with her medication. I truly feel like they take great care of her when I’m not there. The school is kept clean, safe, and feels very open and warm. The events that they put on are always fun and diverse. We hope that they open their elementary program by the time our daughter starts kindergarten so we can stay a part of the Guidepost family! I promise you will feel good about dropping your child off at Guidepost.

My 2 children have attended Guidepost at Hurst since August 2023 and we have been nothing but happy with the care, love, and guidance they have received since enrolling. All staff members are nurturing and my children look forward to attending every day. Would highly recommend to any parent looking for excellent childcare!

We have had the best experience at Guidepost! The management ladies (Sammi and Jessica) and entire staff are extraordinary and so supportive and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this school. They take amazing care of my child, and provide all the necessary tools for her to grow and learn. We are forever grateful to this team.
