Green Mountain Village Preschool

I really can't overstate how grateful and pleased my mama heart is with this lovely little preschool and amazing teachers. I've been in the field of early childhood education and special education for 12 years, and the quality of care and interaction at Green Mountain Village is everything I could hope for my 4-year-old daughter Gracie. It is play-based and naturalistic and child-led, with an emphasis on connection and social emotional relationships, which is what was most important for our family. That being said I will also say that the quality of exposure to early academic content is also wonderful and much more than we expected. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday, talks about her teachers and friends, and I love the daily activity she brings home each day. The teachers are warm and connected, like aunties, which was also very important for my husband and I.

Ms. Traci has created a wonderful program, my son is flourishing there. No matter what kind of mood he was in at home, he is always happy and excited once we arrive at GMVP, and even more so when I pick him up and he excitedly describes all their fun projects and sings me their songs. Really fun wholesome stuff. I would recommend this program to anyone.

My son has had a wonderful experience at GMVP! His warm, attentive teachers are awesome and he loves them and going to school. He is delighted by their engaging daily projects and is learning so much in this wholesome, nurturing program. Highly recommend!

I found Green Mountain Village Preschool after a friend recommended it as all three of her kids had gone there and she couldn't say enough good things about it. I am SO glad I took her advice, our family loves everything about this school. This was the first time our daughter was in a school/drop-off setting and I was a little nervous how she would do. Our daughter absolutely loves it and begs to go on the weekends. She has learned so much and has made so many new friends. The teachers are so carings, kind and personable and have made an effort to really get to know our family. I cannot say enough good things about GVVP and I recommend this school to anyone looking for a loving preschool for your kids.

GMVP: a lovely preschool in Lakewood that is intimate and a wonderful place to send your kiddo. They have great schedule flexibility for days you want to send your child and a great location for those near green mountain. My child does well here and doesn’t find it overwhelming. They have wonderful teachers and the development through play is amazing. We love GMVP!

I cannot say enough great things about Green Mountain Village Preschool. My first interaction with GMVP, was over 10 years ago with my nephews who attended school here. I was always so impressed with the love, care, and an academic foundation that the teachers gave the children. Fast forward to now and being a parent looking for a school for my daughter, it was a no brainer that I wanted to send her here. This was the best program for her as it sparked her imagination with play, love of learning, patience, emotional maturity, and wonderful lasting friendships. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for their kids first introduction to school.

My son attended this preschool and I cannot recommend it enough!!!! He loved going to school, which is exactly what I wanted for him. The teachers are warm, kind, experienced and created a safe, nurturing environment. You will not find a more kind, loving and fun teacher than Miss Traci!!! All the kids adore her. My son also learned everything he needed to be well prepared for kindergarten! Highly recommend to all my friends and family.
