This is been an absolutely wonderful school for my daughter! We will be sad and excited all at the same time when she moves on to 1st grade. She has learned so much academically and socially in this environment. She has the ability to focus on tasks from start to finish, is already reading at a rather high level and is very independent. These children are cherished as individuals at this school. My daughter has also learned how to respect others and this is taught and highly valued at Garfield. The children here learn how to deal with problems and interactions with others and take responsibilty for themselves at a young age. It's been a wonderful experience.
