Free Horizon Montessori

Contrarily to popular belief distributed by the parent text-warriors in the reviews, this school is nothing short of a disaster. Now not everything is miserable here, when I had attended this school I had a fantastic 4-6 teacher. She left the year after I did, and all off the other teachers had no idea what they were doing. The school discipline system is nothing short of pathetic; you can get away with anything there. Also, the kids without learning disability were placed in the same class as the rest. That resulted in those children harming the others and the attackers getting away with free with punches and general harm to others. The education left me defenseless for middle school, and into high school now. As a student, I hope that any parents reading this would honestly reconsider this school. It does not prepare you for following schools, and sidetracks to less important values in education. Best regards, student 2006-2014 Two stars only because of my teacher.

Wonderful school! Wonderful staff! We were unsure if this school would be a good fit for our profoundly gifted child, but thus far we have been thrilled with how accommodating the teachers and administration has been. Anytime I've had questions or concerns, they've been addressed promptly with genuine interest and care. Our child is able to explore works that are challenging and interesting to her, in a supportive and loving environment. Her teacher has come up with so many wonderful ideas to enhance her school experience. We feel very fortunate to have found a school with teachers and staff who care so much. Very happy we joined the FHM family!

This is a great school of community, hard-working dedicated staff, who do their very best every day to keep the Montessori philosophy in the forefront, and Jeffco funding issues and nonsense on the back burner. My son is happy, working, learning, and growing. Plus, you will not find a more excited and passionate community. Check it out. We love it.

I have 2 children at FHM and they absolutely love it. They look forward to school and their learning and truly enjoy the "Aftercare Program". FHM is not just a school where we drop our kids off but a community we are involved and a very active and diverse community. FHM is refreshing ...................
