I have a 5 yo and a 7 yo. They went to one of the most prestigious schools in Bergen county for 2 years. We grew frustrated with the school in Bergen county, mainly due to prioritization of alleged academic performance while compromozing socio-emotional wellbeing of our kids. We looked at other options and visited FOG among other schools. We loved the farm vanue, wooden playground and montessori education. Once the school year started we noticed an immediate change - our kids eat better (less sugar, per school policy), move around more, they are stronger and socialize more - they teach me stuff they learned at school each day!). FoG is family owned so they truely care about the school and students (also parents), the staff is wonderful, attentive and approachable. The school is full of animals, laughter and life. I would recommend fields of green to anyone who wants happy kids growing in a holistic, ecologic environment and just regret not having such schooling options when I was a kid 🙃

This is a wonderful school that provides kids with unique experiences. Caring staff and a great community of people.

Amazing school! The teachers are attentive to their individual growth and learning experience. We moved unfortunately but would love to have our kids back there. My kids still talk about how special their time was at the school.

Terrible school they told the parents how to raise their children and told the children what they could and couldn’t watch

Fields of Green is a very special school. As soon as you walk into the building, there is a strong sense of community and cohesion. All classrooms have children bright eyed and eager to learn buzzing about. The students are beyond friendly, inquisitive and intelligent. The school itself is a home like setting that is a breath of fresh air compared to the drab and depressive setting that I have witnessed of public schools. Children have a hands on experience in every sense. There's animals in every room and a dog that provides a sense of comfort and security for all students.
