Best school in the area

This school continues to be good for our family and child. It opens early at 7:30 and works for us. My son is almost 4, and he seems to be learning a lot at the school and enjoys it. After every week my son's school work is sent home with him and i can see an improvement in his tracing of letters over the months. Before we put him here at this school, we had him in a different school. He was enrolled there for 6 months but was sick and missed 3 months out of the 6 months. He also got hand foot mouth twice there. So we were relieved that after 8 months now, he hasn't missed more half the time like the other place. The sick days seem reasonable now. So i think they do a good job of keeping the school clean and such. Definitely recommend the school.

Our 3-year-old son has been attending Evergreen Montessori (Aborn Location) for almost a year. The school stands out with their progressive education and blending traditional Montessori principles. Teachers in the Juniper Classroom: Ms. Manjit, Ms. Gaiety, Ms. Fatima and Ms. Suhasini are exceptional, embodying the true spirit of Montessori education. They are highly qualified, with extensive training in Montessori methods, and they demonstrate a deep passion for their work. Facility: The school's facilities are beautifully maintained, the classrooms are spacious, well-organized, and conducive to learning. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, offering children the opportunity to explore nature and engage in physical activity. Would highly recommend this school for all parents. Love all the teachers and all the hard work they do!

My daughter is 7 years old now and has been going to Evergreen Montessori school at Aborn location. I started sending my 3.5 year old Son at the same location. I really like the curriculum for all age of kids with focus on reading/ writing/ math skills, world cultures and natural sciences. Excellent support from all the teachers by encouraging creative learning using Montessori methods from start. They have kids yoga, music and physical activity sessions, provide freshly made food and have multi-cultural celebrations every year. I would recommend Evergreen Montessori school to anyone looking for good overall development of their child before starting kindergarten and grade school.

My daughter started at Evergreen Montessori schools at the Yerba Buena location and switched to the Aborn location when she switched from the Nurture Program (1.5 to 3.5yo) to the Discover Program (3.5 to K) once she was potty trained. So we have experienced both schools and love them both equally (our location switch was only due to driving convenience). To say that she is THRIVING would be an understatement! My daughter is 33 months old and she already has phonemic awareness (identifying and sounding out her letters), is fully potty trained, chooses and puts on her own clothes and shoes, can set and clear her own table, eats independently, has memorized (and is constantly singing) countless songs and nursery rhymes, she’s even begun coloring within the lines and starting to trace shapes, numbers, and letters. She is able to work independently and has also built relationships with her peers and teachers. She understands categorizing and sequencing, and she is often practicing her life skills at home by putting away her own toys, helping with cooking and cleaning, and is even responsible for certain tasks like feeding our dog. Both schools’ teachers and staff are all very well versed in the Montessori way. This is a true Montessori school. Not only is the curriculum all Montessori based, but how the teachers monitor and handle children’s behavior aligns with Maria Montessori’s teachings. They are all kind, caring, and are able to adhere to boundaries, creating a safe and nurturing environment for the students. They recently had a Winter Program performance. Not only did ALL children sing AND dance to 13 holiday songs from around the world, but my daughter was selected to lead the Peace Prayer by Ghandi (11 lines MEMORIZED). Getting 2 schools of children under 6 years old to stand on stage and perform for 20+ minutes was absolutely mind-blowing and such a delight! Needless to say we love the Evergreen Montessori Schools. My daughter RUNS to the school door each day eager to learn and play and comes home beaming, ready to tell us everything she learned. I highly recommend Evergreen Montessori!

Awesome school! Worked like champ with all 3 kids so far. Teachers truly care and bond with kids. My daughters love their current teachers - Ms Bharati, Ms Vijaya, Ms Alexa, Ms Sushmita.. etc. I high recommend this Montessori (at least this particular campus based on my personal experience).

Our daughter has been going to Evergreen Montessori School (EMS, ABORN) for more than an year now and we are happy with her progress. Teachers at the school are experienced and are keenly involved in child's development. Curriculum at the school is well-rounded with focus on reading / writing / math skills, world cultures and natural sciences. Teachers put emphasis on cultivating inner discipline and personal responsibility through easy-to-implement methods that we also follow at home. School regularly plans extra-curricular activities,cultural performances etc. to encourage participation and social interaction. My daughter is 5 years old now and has been going to Evergreen Montessori School (EMS) at Aborn location for more than a year now. She has grown by leaps and bounds due to the care, skill and support shown by teachers here. They have a very good student teacher ratio which allows for more individual attention to every kid. Evergreen Montessori has the correct balance of arts, academics, physical activities and creativity. Just as an example, my daughter knows about solar system and can name all the planets and their characteristics, difference between vertebrates and invertebrates, all forms of matter etc. she is good at math, can do additions, read and write full sentences and is fully ready for kindergarten thanks to teachers at EMS. The teachers at Evergreen Montessori encourage creative learning using Montessori methods from start. They have kids yoga, music and physical activity sessions every week, provide freshly made food and have multi-cultural celebrations every year encouraging kids to respect all cultures. There are a lot of positive things about EMS. We are very happy with the growth of our child and very happy with the commitment of teachers at this school.
