We are so happy we chose Du Page Montessori School for our daughter. Teachers are kind and caring, classrooms are big and bright, they have their own playground and the rates are more than reasonable. I had tours in 4 Montessori schools in the area and it felt like the best one, after 1 year enrolled we could not be happier. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent.

Incredible school, staff and teachers. Our son has learned so much in pre-k 3 and will continue next year with pre-k 4. Wonderful summer camp program, field trips and extracurricular activities. Very happy to have found this gem.

My daughter (age 3) loves going to Du Page Montessori School (Wheaton Campus) ever since she joined the program. She used to cry in the car when I took her to another pre-school before we finally transferred her to Du Page Montessori. She is now busy learning and exploring all kinds of things at school and made many friends. The school teachers and staffs are friendly and kind. It is a good environment for a young child to grow up.

I am a teacher, and so I tend to be very critical when I judge schools and curriculum. Both of my sons have attended DuPage Montessori Wheaton, and it is simply wonderful! The teachers and staff are warm, intelligent, flexible, caring, and supportive. The education they receive is great, and the Montessori method helps students be both independent and cooperative in their learning. Students learn good focus and self-motivation skills, as well as how to follow correct methods to do things. From learning at age 2 how to put the correct shoe in the correct foot, to math, to proper floor sweeping technique, students learn useful everyday skills as well as math, reading, writing, etc. Students in Montessori education are usually way ahead of other students their age, both in maturity and knowledge. As far as why we chose this particular school--we considered all other area Montessori schools in the Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Villa Park, Carol Stream area. After visiting and researching, we narrowed it down to 3 schools that we liked a lot: TLC Montessori in Lombard, Wheaton Montessori in Wheaton, and DuPage Montessori Wheaton. TLC was just too big, crowded, and impersonal. Wheaton was great, but waaayyy too expensive, plus it's on a big busy street, which worried me with little kids that dash around. DuPage Montessori was reasonably priced, had good hours, the staff was flexible to our and our sons' needs (no potty training needed!), followed both the letter and the spirit of the true Montessori method, had a good location on a quiet residential street, caring teachers, good teacher/student ratio, great curriculum, nice playground, and LOTS of space--so many Montessori school for some reason are cramped--this school has nice large classrooms, and large hallway, and some extra rooms for after care, school presentations/meetings, etc. The school also offers a nice, organic hot lunch program if you are so inclined. One final thing--the school is wonderful diverse and balanced--there is a bit of every race and religion among the student body--I love that my sons had friends of every ethnic background!
