Our daughter is entering her third year at CMC preschool — she started when she was just 2.5. She has blossomed in this small, tight-knit community, growing physically, educationally, and personally. I know she feels great ownership over her community and she is excited to go to school every morning. We're grateful that the school has been a beacon of consistency during the unpredictability of COVID. The staff is caring and committed to knowing each little person and the building is beautiful.

Whether you’re familiar with Montessori or not, CMC is a fabulous preschool choice. I’m overjoyed with the opportunity to send my 3 year old here for preschool. Some of my favorite things about CMC is that there limited technology time, it is child led in the sense that they work at their own pace, they don’t force sharing and teach kids about consent from day one. I switched to Montessori from a traditional preschool environment as it was more developmentally appropriate and more in line with how we parent. Previously, Some days were a struggle for my daughter to get up and want to go to daycare/school. Since switching to CMC she hasn’t had one day that she hasn’t wanted to get up and go. To me, that’s what matters the most is that she loves it there!

CMC is a beautiful, well organized nonprofit Montessori school. The director is continually improving the program and has tremendously committed to build the excellent Montessori school and met the state star rating system with devoted staff in central Ohio area since the school was founded. The school is profoundly implementing Montessori philosophy by allowing students to work on their own pace to learn the knowledge and skills of practical life ( e.g. preparing healthy snack on their own) , sensorial (e. g. knowing geometry shapes and solids), language ( e.g. phonetic and phonogram reading, math ( e. g. practicing four operations) , geography ( e. g. learning continents), etc. No matter the students who are new comer or have attended the school for more than two and half years have enjoyed coming to school and learned how to be self directed and/ or teacher guided when needed in mastering Montessori curriculum with concrete materials repetitively, independently and /or cooperatively. Older students have also gotten great opportunities to be the leaders and help younger children to grow socially and academically in the class. This is the school that strives to educate students to be independent, kind, helpful and self directed in learning.

The staff are absolutely top-notch. CMC applies true and end-to-end adoption of the Montessori philosophy. Our child has developed so much in such little time and she very much looks forward to attending school everyday. We can't wait for our 2 year old to be able to attend CMC preschool.

I have pulled my son from this school today. I would give 0 stars if I could. The director is clueless. Horrible communication skills, has very narcissistic qualities and lots of unsolicited parenting advice. She admitted herself that the first guide he had created a harmful bond to his development. Toddler development is not supported. Very unorganized. My son has had 4-5 different adult figures in his class, in only 4.5 months. The director, assistant director, his guide and her assistant which were both let go of but not explained. Today there was a random substitute. The director was horrible to interact with. I loved his first guide Debbie Nash. I will sending a review to JFS for her childcare license because of the negative experience. The assistant director is awesome and she deserves a much better job Negative Quality, Professionalism, Value

I’m thrilled that this school is opening, as my daughter has received direct care from the school director and a teaching assistant for the past year. I highly recommend checking out Community Montessori!
