My daughter has been attending Children's World Bilingual Montessori School for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with our decision. She joined the primary class right during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the school has provided her with a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. The teachers at CWBM are truly exceptional. They are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also incredibly caring and supportive. My daughter has formed strong bonds with her teachers Ms. Michelle, Ms. Pratima, Ms. Tuy, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Betty, Ms. Erika, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Teresa. I can see how much she loves and respects them. The school's bilingual curriculum has been a great benefit for my daughter. It’s one of the few pre-schools in the Bay area that has true Montessori certification. This is one of the key factors that we decided to enroll her into this school. She has developed a strong foundation in both English and Mandarin, and she is confident in her ability to communicate in both languages. Beyond academics, CWBM has also helped my daughter develop important social and emotional skills. She has learned how to collaborate with her peers, resolve conflicts peacefully, and express her feelings appropriately. I am so grateful for the positive impact that CWBM has had on my daughter's development. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a top-notch bilingual educational experience for their child.

Our kids went to Children’s World for 3 years. We always felt supported by the staff. They helped us navigate toddlerhood as first time parents, and provided the most loving and warm learning environment for our kids. Here we watched our kids learn how to make friends, how to love and respect them, and also felt the joy of seeing them being loved back by their peers. They fell in love with problem solving, art, language, and got exposed to geography, botany, and different cultures. We started during the pandemic, and the work Ms Michelle and the teachers put into keeping the children healthy was and still is extremely effective. CWBM is the safest school community, health and emotional-wise, we had the pleasure to be part of.

We are incredibly grateful for our experience at CWBM and would highly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing environment for their child. Here are a few reasons why we love this preschool: 1. Livestream Cameras for Peace of Mind: The livestream cameras installed throughout the facility provide us with the peace of mind knowing that we can check in on our child anytime during the day. It's reassuring to see firsthand the safe and engaging environment they create. 2. Caring and Supportive Staff: The teachers and school director are exceptionally caring and supportive. They have fostered a warm and welcoming atmosphere and maintain excellent communication with parents. It's clear they have a genuine passion for what they do. 3. Social and Behavioral Development: Beyond academics, the preschool emphasizes social skills and appropriate behavior. We have seen our child grow in confidence, independence, and respect for others, which are invaluable lessons for their future. 4. Academic Growth and Enrichment: Our child has made remarkable strides academically at CWBM. They have learned addition, counting up to 100, phonics, and even bopomofo, which we found impressive. The curriculum is both enriching and age-appropriate, tailored to stimulate young minds. 5. Beloved by Kids: Perhaps the most telling sign of CWBM Preschool's success is how much our child loves going to school. They have formed strong bonds with their teachers and friends, creating a positive and joyful learning environment. Overall, CWBM has exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldn't be happier with our choice and are grateful for the positive impact it has had on our child's development.

CWBM was probably the best place to have had our son for 4 years, and if I had to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. I really can’t recommend CWBM highly enough. It’s hard to overstate what a huge influence CWBM was on his development. Across 4 years (age 2 to 6) he was potty trained, learned to tie his shoes, read, and perform four-digit addition. He learned great habits like hand washing for a full 20 seconds, putting things away after use, and helping around the house. He became an increasingly thoughtful, kind, and confident individual. The learning environment is very immersive yet broad and really suited his personality. The Montessori way of learning through exploration allowed him to progress at his own place. He made so many good friends there; ones he keeps in touch with even though they’ve all moved on to different elementary schools. In fact, we liked the school so much, we kept him there an extra year for their Kindergarten program at a time when most kids might move on to elementary school. At CWBM, it’s a very focused program that is typically limited to only 4 or 5 students. Teachers spend extra time with them helping their development, with a focus on leadership. I feel like his learning definitely got supercharged that last year. The ultimate test is how much your child wants to go to school. In our case, our son was always sad when he had to be kept home due to a fever. Positives: + Accredited Montessori. The Montessori method of teaching is quite different from a traditional classroom environment. Children learn through play. Our son would describe the “jobs” to us that he did every day. + Caring teachers. The teachers are really off the charts here. Many of them send their own kids to the school and treat each child like their own. + Teach excellent habits. All the kids are so good with washing their hands, wearing masks, putting their “jobs” away for the next person, etc. Our son always puts the toilet seat down without fail. + Exceptionally clean. It’s the cleanest school we had ever seen. Even before COVID, they would have the school deep cleaned every weekend and you can tell the moment you walk in. + Outstanding COVID protocols. o Full credit to Ms. Michelle, the Center Director, for leading CWBM through the crisis. She was able to pivot the school to offering online classes for the students while reopening again for a small cohort in June 2020. My son was in that first cohort that returned to school so didn’t spend the pandemic stuck at home. Combined with their Kindergarten program, he was well prepared for 1st grade because his learning continued unabated through the pandemic. o All kids wore masks, and they moved to QR codes for pickup and drop-off to minimize shared surfaces. The kids wash their hands often and have hand sanitizer readily available. There’s also a HEPA filter in the main classroom. o My understanding is they now have a bi-weekly COVID testing protocol in place for the kids, too. Until pediatric vaccines are available for kids as young as two, this provides additional peace of mind for parents. + Excellent value. Compared to other true Montessori programs in the area, I consider CWBM a great value. There are no mandatory donations, long-term contracts, parent volunteering expectations, etc. There is a single fee for 8a-6p care, which is often less than other facilities’ half-day fees. + Good security. Front door and outdoor gates are locked during school hours, so entry and exit is limited. No need to worry that anyone can just walk into the school. Negatives: - Very small parking lot. It fills up easily at pickup & drop off and can get congested, but parents are allowed to park at Chase bank next door. My wife found CWBM and said it was her first choice for bilingual daycare in the area. I often joked with her that the day she heard our son was admitted to CWBM, she was as excited as if he got into Harvard. In retrospect, I understand her enthusiasm now.

First of all, this is the cleanest school among places we have toured. The classroom is professionally cleaned every day and it is well organized inside. My daughter and I absolutely love CWBM school, it was a wonderful experience! Children are exposed to all sorts of activities, painting, sorting, sewing, counting, reading etc, and more importantly, children are encouraged to select the work they would like to do and spend quality time to focus. Teachers are so warm, vibrant, caring and kind. I especially like the mix-age play time where bigger kids learn to be caring and little kids also enjoy playing with older ones. Children not only make good progress academically, but also learn useful life skills. I am so grateful that my kid was able to go there. My daughter attended over the last 3 years and we have loved everything the school offers, she is socially and academically prepared for upcoming kindergarten.

This is really the best preschool that anyone could ask for. My child has been with them for almost 4 years and we love the school more and more. Teachers are caring and most importantly they respect every child as an individual. My child grew up to be independent, loving, and creative. Thank you CWBM team.

I love this school. My younger daughter will start school next week, my older one has been there for one year. I trust teachers and I know my daughter is happy there. I also love that they give parents access to the Dropcams.

I only have positive words to say about CWBM. Prior to starting CWBM, The Director, Miss Michelle taught my eldest at another Montessori school. When she left, we kept in touch, and when I was ready to put my second little one in pre-school, I, without a doubt, sought out Miss Michelle. There’s no question that I’ll be enrolling my third one there as well. Miss Michelle is the best pre-school teacher my children could ask for. Her staff is excellent at doing what they do. As a full-time working mother, it’s reassuring and gives me peace of mind knowing that my children are well-cared for and are adequately prepared for kindergarten. I love the fact that she has a web-cam so I can take a quick peek throughout the day to see what my son was doing in school. As a result, my two older children entered kindergarten with a strong background in reading and math – putting them at the top of their classes. The momentum has carried forward as they move up each grade level. Another plus is the clean and safe environment. I highly recommend this pre-school!
