This is a mom/pop type daycare. It is a tiny house turned into a daycare. Unfortunately the staff is difficult to deal with. They have "we are always right" mentally. Please take the time to meet all the staff and ask enough questions to assess each teachers demeanor and personality. You will thank me later. I will say you could potentially have a good experience if you toe the line and are ok being talked to like if you are a toddler yourself. PLEASE READ ALL THE 1-STAR REVIEWS for real no-fluff side of things. From suspicious Montessori credentials to the "director" getting hostile for asking about their education background. All is spot on and wish I had this information going into it.

My daughter started at BNMS before she turned two, and it's been over four years now since this school became her second home and happy place. She never complained about being bored or overwhelmed, and she's always excited about her little "work" and "lessons" that they do at school. She was never pushed or left behind and was able to learn a great deal at her own pace. They learn good manners, how to be kind and friendly. The teachers are very experienced and loving. I highly recommend this school, it's the best choice that I could have made for my daughter.

My son totally loves it at school. He learns so much and feels comfortable and confident in school. Communication with the staff is very easy and efficient.

We just moved to the area and are so fortunate to have found Birds Nest Montessori for our 4-year-old. He loves his teachers and looks forward to school every morning. His 2-year-old sister will be joining him in the fall and we cannot say enough good things about this school or its teachers. We highly recommend taking a look if you are interested in an organized, respectful and loving environment for your children.

My sons have attended Birds Nest since we moved to Fayetteville three years ago. We love the teachers and Montessori program. I recommend the school whenever parents are looking for a private school.

My 4 year old son has been going to Bird’s Nest for the past two years and we love it. BNMS has provided structured, calm, imaginative play opportunities for my son and he has thrived there— he was nearly fully potty trained within weeks of getting there, he knows all his letters and numbers, practices writing all the time, and can cut paper like a champ. He is more than prepared for kindergarten. Most importantly, the teachers there obviously love him and want him to thrive. My son loves everyone there so much, and talks about them on the weekends and sometimes asks to call them or send them a message (especially his favorites, Ms. Marlene and Miss Jaylah). They are his second family in a lot of ways. I recommend this school to every parent I talk to— the rates are affordable and the education and care is top notch. I can’t speak highly enough of Bird’s Nest, and once my 10 month old is old enough, he’ll join his brother there as well.

Our now 3 year old started 8 months ago. She loves it. Her speech has vastly improved and her interaction with kids is amazing. We love Ms. Marlene and Ms. Jaylah. We will be enrolling our baby when she is old enough to attend.
