Children nap in the same room where a parrot is kept at all times and must wear cloth diapers to attend (if not potty trained yet).

We love Berwyn Montessori School, and our son is thriving there. They provide wonderful, balanced lunches which are allowing our son to learn how to set the table, serve, and clean up after meals, as well as exploring foods we may not have in frequent rotation at home. He is learning new skills every day and is now working to learn Spanish. All positive vibes and experiences with Mrs. Schultz and Berwyn Montessori School!

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE due to an unsafe environment! I removed my child from here after I witnessed an incident at a school function which no child should have to endure.

I only have the best things to say for Berwyn Montessori. The Montessori has helped my son become confident, focused and well behaved child. Mrs Schultz the head of the Montessori provides individualized learning through adapting to my child's needs. I am thankful to Berwyn Montessori teachers to provide a safe and invigorating environment for the little ones.

We love this little school. Mary really cares about the children and and their development. Our children love going here and come back having learned so many things they don’t teach in schools anymore. She gives every child the individual care they need. We can’t say enough good things about this school.

Berwyn Montessori is a wonderful school run by a very caring and loving owner. Mary set up my child for success. They were well prepared for elementary school and were ahead on the reading & math curve. We are thankful to her!

This is the best kept secret in Berwyn and the surrounding area. This school is not a nursery or baby sitting service. It’s is a school and a great one at that. The school is owner operated by someone who truly cares about the long term success of our child. They spent two years there for pre school and kindergarten and while they graduate years ago they continue to visit during school holidays. They not only learned how to read here (in preschool!) they also learned cursive, math, history AND even table etiquette. If every school was like this one the world would be a much better place.

To put it simply, Berwyn Montessori has changed the lives of my family. We found this school during covid when our old daycare kept shutting down and I'm so thankful every day that we made the decision to enroll our son here. Mary and her staff tailor daily work to the individual needs of each child and really embody the Montessori method. My son has learned empathy, responsibility, and now has a great love for learning and exploring. This is not just a school, it's a community. If I could keep my son in the Berwyn Montessori bubble until college I would!

Berwyn Montessori provides exceptional caring for 2-6 year old children in a nurturing and intellectually challenging environment that develops young minds in a very special way. Her academic rigor, passion for teaching and knowledge of the Montessori process are exceptional. Her process nurtures a love of learning, makes abstract ideas concrete such as math and grammar easy, and focuses on the individual child's development without comparison to others. Her students learn independent skills, build their own vegetable gardens and harvest snack from there own labor. In the spring they raise chick from eggs in an incubator and study embryo development. All her projects are focused on child learning and being part of the world we live in and understanding other cultures and people. She remains dedicated to here students long after they graduate. She creates a community of parents that is unique and her classes on child development are insightful. You could not find a better care provider for your child.
