BBM - Burr Ridge Bilingual Montessori

We are thrilled with our daughter’s experience at BBM. The teachers are exceptional—compassionate, patient, and highly skilled. Our daughter loves going to school, thanks to the engaging and fun learning environment they create. The balanced curriculum blends structured learning with creative play, fostering a love for learning and important social skills. We’ve seen remarkable growth in her confidence and abilities. The preschool is clean, safe, and welcoming, with excellent communication from staff. We highly recommend BBM for any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching early education for their child.

I am so blessed to have BBM available for my daughter’s early childhood education! As a 3rd generation Arab American Muslim, I wanted to put my daughter in a Montessori environment but was always worried about her losing out on Arabic and Islamic tarbiyah. I put her in a well-respected secular Montessori school for half days when she was 2 and not yet potty trained. However, I knew that I preferred a program with Arabic and Islam for the following year so that the principles I was teaching my daughter could be strengthened while away from me at school too. And BBM checked all of those boxes for me! My 3.5 year old daughter now comes home everyday with a smile on her face as she asks to count together and tells me all about South America. She is also the one who reminds me, my husband, her grandparents, her cousins (everyone!) to say the duah before eating. It’s such a relief to know that I am able to give her an education that is rich in academics, emotional learning, English, AND Arabic and Islamic principles. Thank you so much BBM!!!

We are so blessed to have this school available to us and give this fantastic educational option to our children. The school has a wonderful, calm, nurturing, and positive environment. The instruction is in both Arabic and English. English, Arabic, and Quran teachers always float around the classroom and work in small groups or individually with children throughout the day. The staff is communicative and responsive regarding issues and solves them based on Islamic principles. BBM offers progressive education embedded in Islamic values, and we couldn't ask for more. We are also excited about the newly added elementary classes, so that our children can continue our education here after Kindergarten.

I am so glad we chose to go with elementary school at BBM. My daughters are in 2nd grade and kg. In just the first few months, I've seen my girls blossom in their learning experiences and personalities. I love the Arabic program as it gives a complete education of Quran, tarbiyyah, along with written and spoken Arabic. Miss Rissa is doing an exceptional job of covering all topics of education and meeting the girls where they are and helping them grow and learn from there. I can see the benefit of the Montessori style of learning. Thank you to the wonderful administration and teachers!!

We moved to Illinois a year ago, we had two different schools experience with our daughters. And when we finally found out BBM elementary school things started working out for us. My daughters are in 3rd and pre k. They are so much better and happier, more comfortable and excited about school day. I can see the improvement in their lives and education this school provides for them. Really nice and respectful teachers, kids feel they are at home when they’re at school. So glad we have them in this great school

This is a great Montessori. They follow a true Montessori curriculum. I've seen significant growth with my child during her attendance here.
