Aurora Montessori School

I just wanted to take a minute to compliment this school on the great job they're doing. Every question I have is answered promptly and politely, and the transition has been a very smooth one for us...not to mention our teachers Ms. Kavitha and Ms. Sharmila are the best. I am also very appreciative of the outside time that the kids are getting! I know that the outdoor schedule is completely dependent on the weather - with my husband's travel schedule increasing, so is my time as a solo parent. After I pick up the kids, I primarily focus on dinner and bedtime routines, and don't always have the capacity to take the kids to a playground. My son's ability to self-regulate, focus, and just overall happiness are very closely linked with the amount of time he has spent outdoors, and I am so grateful for every extra minute of outdoor time that can be snuck into the day. I really appreciate the dedication of both the teachers and the front-office staff, and their awesome "can-do" attitudes.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this school!! The first day that my 4 year-old son attended the school, he came home happy, cheerful, and proud to be a student of "Montessori school." He felt safe, included, and confident as a new little learner in his classroom. His enthusiasm and interest to learn and explore new things grows everyday. I cannot thank enough his teachers for guiding and encouraging him to learn and explore new things in school. I found everyone working in this school, right from the administrators to the teachers, to be caring, dedicated and compassionate individuals who love working with children. They work tirelessly to support and guide them in order to help them gain meaningful knowledge at their own pace. In short, this school is a hidden gem tucked away in North Aurora road and all parents who want their children to experience authentic Montessori method of learning in a school, should definitely visit and explore this school. I only wish their organization had a prominent website that was solely dedicated to the school and shared their curriculum, vision and mission. Had there been a proper website of this school instead of the "montessori unlimited", we would have enrolled our son long ago when he was 3; we learned about this school from a friend and I'm so glad we visited them soon after. Thus, a prominent website and/or a strong presence in social media will, I strongly believe, help many more families to be aware of this wonderful school that provides authentic Montessori learning experience to children.

This school provides a very warm and nurturing environment to kids. Both my kids have been at this school and thrived in the enriching montessori environment. The school has turned them into very thoughtful and independent young boys. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great school for their kids.

Amazing school, teachers and administration. A place my child has attended since he was 1.5 years old and he's a little over 3 years now. He is a polite, perfectly behaved child. This place provides care and structure. He is developing so well under the care of his teachers. Thank you.

I was not thinking of rating the school, but now I think I must do it. We admitted our son to this school in the month of April. After 2 weeks he started hating the school and his class teacher. Everyday and night he just used to say that he didn’t want to go to his teacher’s class (by mentioning the name). In the month of September, we admitted him to another school, and he has started loving the new school. Everyday he is excited to go school. But only one thing what is bothering us is, daily before he sleep he says, “I don’t want to go to the ms. …….. (not mentioning the name)”. And I regret of sending him to that school. I don’t know about others but I had a very bad experience.

Our son attends Aurora Montessori & we could not be happier! His teacher is an amazing & provides the greatest environment for our son to learn & grow. He has gone from a picky eater, who only wanted to play his iPad to trying new foods daily & playing independently for hours daily & seldom screen time at home. This school has been such a blessing to our family!

Highly recommended. My 5 yr old got along with teachers and kids easily. The teachers here have been there for decades which is key factor I think.

School is fine, the patrons are rude and inconsiderate. 2 times a day they have kids pickup, and due to location of school, the parents are a complete nuisance to neighboring businesses sharing parking lot, speeding through parking lot and parking in places they are not supposed to. The school needs to be more assertive and demand that their patrons to be courteous.
