Appletree Preschool - North Haledon

I highly recommend this daycare! My grandchildren have attended the infant and toddler 1 class for 2 months now. The amount of growth in those 2 months has been monumental. My grandson has some developmental delays and receives early intervention. All staff incorporate his goals and thrive to encourage him. They make him feel loved, nurtured, and motivated. I wouldn't say it is a special needs school, but they definitely go above and beyond! They are like a second family.

I fully and wholeheartedly recommend Appletree pre-k. From the moment Kellie emailed me back, I knew this was where our kiddo should be. Gina took over as director a few months later and the culture stayed the same which is a big testament to their judgment and choices. I’m forever grateful to the entire staff, especially Sophia, Julia, Luz, Gina and Kellie. I wouldn't trust my kid with just anyone. These teachers and caretakers are trained to be gentle, loving and to treat not only the kids with love but parents as well. The communication is wonderful, you receive pictures and videos. My kiddo has skyrocketed both academically and as a person. I just wish he could stay there longer. Thank you for everything you have done for our family. We’re going to miss you all tremendously.

I could not have picked a better pre-k for my daughter! Appletree goes above and beyond for their students. My daughter's experience was fantastic! Shout out to their great team of teachers and their wonderful director!

My son has been attending Appletree since he was 5 months old and our experience has been great. His teachers are very attentive to him and have a genuine interest in his development. Communicating with the school for updates is super easy using their app. They are great on sharing all the parts of his day - what he’s learning, what he’s eaten, diaper changes, etc. Really happy with our decision to send him to Appletree

Will enroll my child into better care than what this preschool provides.

We’ve had our son enrolled at Appletree for about 4 years now since he was 4 months old. It’s amazing to watch him grow through their program and interact with his teachers and friends. Every teacher we’ve encountered has been so caring and loving and truly wants the best for all of the kids. The staff is fantastic and the management is even better. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone who is looking for peace and ease of mind with where their child spends the day!

Absolutely thrilled with the care and attention my child receives at APPLETREE. The staff is incredibly nurturing, attentive, and professional. The facility is clean, safe, and filled with stimulating activities. My child looks forward to going every day, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. Highly recommend!

I don't want everyone to know how amazing Appletree is because then there will be wait-lists, but they really are the best. Ms. Kellie and the entire team are genuinely full of love and consideration for the children. They have a high level of professionalism--I've never waited more than a few hours for a response. Every team member knows every child by name. Every concern is directly addressed and monitored. They send updates like pictures, snacks, meals, potty in real time all day. Even the record keeping is immaculate. The kids do yoga! They sing and have dance parties and celebrations! They learn letters and numbers and big feelings! On top of all that, they constantly have something new to experience like butterfly cacoons, incubating duck eggs, tye dye shirts, arts and crafts, etc. I previously sent our toddler to a larger institution and that place was garbage compared to Appletree. Now my daughter gets personalized attention from loving people. The location is convenient with plentiful parking. The fees are reasonable (fantastic child teacher ratio and meals and snacks are included)! And again, staff is amazing. Overall, a fully "good vibes only" school for kids!

If you want to feel like your child matters, this is the place! Every little concern I’ve had was always addressed and fixed. Kellie the director is an extraordinary human being and the center is so lucky to have someone who cares so deeply and is passionate about her work. The teachers are also amazing and very loving. My daughter has been going here for over a year and even after moving I’ve kept her here because they just make it so easy for me to trust them with her. Highly recommend!
