Our child loves going to Apple Tree Orchard. The teachers are so kind and all the different activities keep our kiddo engaged all day. I also appreciate the safety precautions, especially the controlled entry. Thank you for being so great! We appreciate you!

My son has gone to this daycare for a year and a half and the growth and difference I have noticed has been night and day. From the excellent work done by teachers to get him comfortable, as the beginning of anything new can always be nerve racking, to the work done to prepare him for kindergarten, to the music programs, to the structure and organization of the entire daycare everything is set up to give every kid the chance to succeed. I am incredibly grateful for my son's experience and would highly recommend this facility to anyone who asks.

Apple tree orchard has been a true blessing, my son is always excited to go, and he absolutley loves his teachers. We have been with apple tree orchard for 2 years and regret not taking him sooner. I would definetly recommend this place to any worried moms leaving their kids for the first time. The innovation and plans of action during the pandemic that came in to effect right away in order to stay open was a blessing for a mom working in the medical field. I was able to relay in them so I could continue to work and never doubted not taking my son when Covid hit knowing they had a good plan in place. They not only take good care of our children but also have a curriculum where my son was able to learn so much. He initially had speech delays but has had great improvement and we are so happy with the progress he has made. We are sad he will be leaving soon for kindergarten but are thankfull for everything they have done in my childs development.

One of the most taxing decisions I’ve made as a parent was choosing a childcare provider. Once the grandparents could no longer watch the girls, I can’t tell you how many nannies, in-home daycares and various child care facilities we visited and yet, nothing felt like a fit. So, I reached out to my social media communities for advice. An ex-coworker of mine, who’s partner works for Nebraska’s Health and Human Services Department, recommended Apple Tree Orchard; I scheduled a visit. Within minutes of walking through the door all of my trepidations were resolved. I could literally feel the stress falling from my shoulders. The facility had secure access. The staff knew not only the names of the kiddos in their class, but also those we’d pass as we toured through the building. Amazingly enough, that also held true for the administration as well, not just the teachers! Nappers who had a hard time settling down were lying next to staff members who gently patted their backs, others who were upset were being consoled and those who didn’t take naps sat quietly with activities to keep them busy. The facility offers three different age-appropriate playgrounds and a gym where the kids can participate in everything from soccer to kung fu to dance. They have bubbles, chalk, scooters and water days! The various centers are all enclosed with safety gates for the little ones and yet the walls are only chest high on an adult so staff can view the entire center. I love that they have a parent’s portal where I can tune in and watch my girls at any point during their day. There are limited field trips (namely to the public library a block away) which personally, I am relieved about and yet, they make the effort to bring in professionals to discuss their trades or entertainers like magicians or even ponies to mix things up a bit. We’ve greatly enjoyed the Independence Day Music Performance and Celebration which is clear everyone puts a lot of time and energy into. It’s a family event where the kids sing patriotic songs and get to enjoy extra activities like bounce houses, balloon animals, face painting and more. As a working mom I also really appreciate their longer hours of operation: 630AM to 600PM, that they don’t have reduced summer hours and I have yet to experience a snow day when the preschool was closed. Not to mention how Kristin and her staff went above and beyond to protect each child and staff during the pandemic. They, like all of us, weathered the storm and took such extensive measures that I had zero concerns about keeping our girls enrolled; unlike several of my friends’ families who needed to quarantine because only the minimum requirements were met. I could go on and on about how outstanding Apple Tree Orchard is. My husband and I could not be more pleased and so greatly appreciate that our girls are truly CARED for. This is not a place where only basic needs are met, my girls thrive in the Apple Tree Orchard environment. We are truly heartbroken that we’ll be moving on to kindergarten in the fall and will have to say goodbye. My utmost gratitude and thanks to Kristen and everyone at Apple Tree Orchard! You’ve been a blessing!

Very impressed! The teachers were so good to our daughter, they taught her so much and the activities helped get her beyond ready for kindergarten. They encouraged our daughter to try new foods and her spanish skills are incredible. We are beyond grateful for appletree and truly miss all the terrific staff!
