We love the Little Leader's Academy. Mrs. April truly cares about her students. She is always kind, always positive and cheerful and the curriculum is creative, fun, and challenging. If you're interested in exposing your child to daily affirmations, yoga, and breathing exercises, embracing nature and all cultures then this is the place for them to be. I couldn't ask for a better environment for my son.

My 3 year old boy is thriving at Little Leader’s Academy. We were attracted to the idea of maximum outdoor time for our active boy, but we’ve been delighted to see how much he has taken to yoga, meditation, and songs. We appreciate that Mrs. April and the other families are also supportive of gluten-free & healthy eating. We’ve been amazed at the sight word recognition. He’s constantly surprising us at home with things that he knows! The shared photo album is the highlight of my day. I love that I can check it and have an idea of what activities he did that day, so I can talk to him about it on the drive home. Also, we love sharing some of those shots with our grandparents. Our family is so impressed with the attention and thought that April puts into activities and lessons. Anytime I share a photo of him at “school” on social media, I get so many comments and questions from friends that want to know more about what he is doing there. I even had a high school friend say “I’ve been working in Pre-K for 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like this and I want to work there.” Little Leaders Academy is exactly what we needed for our son and we are thrilled to enroll him for another year.

Ms. April is incredibly patient and nurturing. She creates a wonderful environment where the kids can explore and learn. She encourages the kids to try new foods and prepares gf df egg free foods that are healthy and good! My son loves going to school at her house.

April is an incredible person and skilled leader-educator. She employs patience, mindfulness, nutrition, and nature in her lessons everyday! This isn't just childcare; it's life-changing. She truly is helping us raise a mindful, respectful, healthy, and well-educated child. Her Whole Child Curriculum is engaging, informative, strategic, and fun. I respect and appreciate her so much, and I'm so glad I found her! Our family is so grateful for these years of nature based, whole-child education we have been blessed to experience with April!

April's approach to learning should be the way all children learn. The kids are always outside in nature doing fun crafts or activities and learning about the world around. I have seen tons of growth mentally, socially, and emotionally during my child's time at Little Leaders. There is excitement when we show up in the morning and always a need for a few more minutes of time with friends in the afternoon at pick up.

April is fantastic. Her preschool curriculum focuses not only on academic growth but also social-emotional development. Our son is working on letter sounds, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and yoga. He is learning to try new foods and each week sings a new song he has learned to correspond with the preschool's weekly theme. And, we love that he spends much of the day outdoors! I highly recommend Little Leaders Academy!
