Love A Step Ahead! My son is so clearly happy there and they do a great job making learning fun. 10/10 would recommend!

I never take time to do reviews but, I can not express how happy I was with the care A Step Ahead provided not just our little girl but, our family. A Step Ahead is truly a diamond in the rough. If you are looking for a super updated school with all the fancy technology then this probably is not the place for you. However, the environment is clean and safe and I absolutely love the family feel the school gives. The teachers are knowledgeable and friendly and the children always seemed to enjoy themselves. The children were always learning something new and engaging in some sort of activity. I couldn't be more happier with the growth we have seen in our daughter after attending A Step Ahead. I definitely do not think this center gets enough recognition and is often overlooked. From my own experience I knew plenty families that didn't even realize there was a daycare so close in the vacinity. The prices are amazing and you still get quality care. I have referred several families and they too have expressed how happy they are that they enrolled. It saddens me that we unfortunately, had to move but, our daughter still lights up when we talk about all her old teachers. As a parent the most important thing for us was putting our baby somewhere safe and loving where she could learn and grow. A Step Ahead did that and more !

We brought our son to A Step Ahead Learning Center learning for about a year and they were wonderful. They made changes based on our requests. They were always friendly. They gave us credit when the daycare was shutdown for COVID. They had strict policies about protecting the children and staff during COVID. They sent us videos of our son's first time walking. Their rates were basically the lowest in the area. Finally, our son can be difficult with napping, and they tried their best to help him with that. Overall, we couldn't be more happy with them and the only reason we stopped is because we're moving out of the area.

My child was offered pork by Miss Amber after were had an extensive discussion about meatless meals when registering. I also saw her feed children of once racial group breakfast while other children were made to wait.

I love A Step Ahead and would give more stars if I could! Our daughter has been there for 5 months and we've had a great experience. The staff obviously care about the children and it feels more like a family environment than an institution, very loving and relaxed but also not a zoo. It's old-school in that it's not the place to go if you want an app tracking your child's hourly activities or daily Instagram photos to access. However, it's everything we need and we are very happy with them. Our daughter's face lights up when she sees the caretakers and we know she is treated well. Children are permitted and encouraged to explore and learn. They have some directed activities but also plenty of time for children to explore and choose their own work, whether with books, puzzles, toys, or just burning off some energy. They advance students from one class to the next not based on age alone but on students' personal development and readiness. There's great diversity both among the children and the staff. It's also one of the most affordable day care centers I've come across in the area, and I do not feel that we've compromised at all on quality for the more affordable price. The opening hours are also generous, which has given us more flexibility to make both work and home life possible.

My daughter absolutely loves going to daycare here and her teacher is great. She is learning a lot and developing well. I love ASA, very happy they are so close to my home. Director is kind and understanding and all of the kids seem happy to be there.
