Pinelands Montessori Independent School

My son started attending Pinelands Montessori when he was 3 years old, and now, at the age of 10 I can confidently say that it has been the best decision I have ever made. Pinelands Montessori has not only provided him with a strong educational foundation, but has also equipped him with skills that will help him navigate life. Staff led by Karima are professional and have been wonderful to work with.

We shared 2x years with Pinelands Montessori. Kariema and her team navigated COVID-19 remote-learning in the most versatile way, without dropping the ball on providing quality education. The move to in-person teaching post COVID has been seamless as well. Our son completed Grade R at the school in 2022. This has been the best experience we've had with a school. We realize now (Gr 1) what immense value the school has added to holistically prepare our kid for the next phase. He is far beyond his peers and this is only with thanks to this amazing team. We unfortunately have had to move schools due to logistics and schedule clashes, but I wish I could've kept my son there for his full primary experience. If you are considering a school, look no further, this is a private, well-knit community is the one for YOU. *YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED :)

Directresses that extend themselves as 2nd moms to your kids and go above the call of duty. Diverse in all that it does, inclusive whilst incorporating everyday practical life learnings. Both my kids started attendance at the school in 2019 and they loved it from the beginning. Having moved from Johannesburg to Cape Town, the transition was not easy for the kids especially for my youngest son,howeber in due course he loved the school due to warm ans supportive environment. The teaching and support staff have been awesome from day one and my kids are still there and loving it. The school is well run and the teaching methods are fun and practical with the outcomes of Montessori values, coupled with the educational standards aligning very well, resulting in well rounded kids.

My three kids went through Pinelands Montessori and honestly, if they had a High School, I would still send my kids.. The teachers are caring and instill life skills my kids still practice to this day. The school has an open layout which allows the children freedom to choose what they want to work with. I like the playground and the safety of the school which is so important in this day and age. I still recommend family and friends to the school! Ãdam, Yusha and Thanaa love visiting even though they are in Gr 11,9 and 6.
