The Pines Academy Early Learning Centre

I could rave on about Pines but I'll try keep to the point. I was alot nervous and worried about leaving my girls (6&8) before and after school care but the transition farrrr exceeded what I thought. My littlest can be a handful (only to me apparently) the whole team are phonominal (our family favorite has to be nat tho ) always friendly kind and gentle with the kids is heaven sent!! Vocational Care wow/ the amount of activities the kids are doing relieves sooo much guilt of not being there with my kids!! When I pick my girls up they are always happy, healthy & incident free. I could keep going but definitely 6/5 stars Thank you so much Pines Academy

My child has been attending Pines for over 4 years now and the most pleasing part is that they have enjoyed attending every single day, they always come home with a smile on their face and can’t wait to describe their day. Since childcare days to present day- before and after care I have always chosen Pines and I will always recommend it because not only the environment, but the educators of the centre are lovely. My kid has developed so many friendships that have continued outside of the centre. I have always found the staff to be caring towards the children and have shown a clear interest in their personal development. During the learning time my child have been exposed to a wide range of topics and I am continually surprised by the different things that they learn at Pines each day. The centre is clean, comfortable and well resourced. My child loves the food that the centre provides, and I would say it has helped created healthy eating habits. It definitely made my life easier as now they can choose and say what they would like to have because of the different type of food they’ve been offered at Pines. I always recommend Pine’s to all my friends and the community!!

While my daughter attended this child care, we had excellent service from all educators. They encompass a student centred approach, in which my daughter built strong positive relationships with all the educators and communication with parents was always a priority. They provide a welcoming, friendly and positive environment for all children and families.

I wish I could give 0 star. My child was physically abused by one of the educators in the baby room last month. He had been attending the day care for 9 months with no issue until the staff shuffle early this year when we made a minor complain about the new educator. The bruises mark on my child back were not as a result of accident but it was deliberately done with a force. You will see other people or the staff will give good review here. Yes, I know it from the name. They may be writing a true review but just exercise your wisdom and listen to your child. And don't ever make a complain about an educator. You just never know what they are going to do to your child especially baby & toddler who can't speak or communicate yet. Our case is currently being investigated by Dept of Education. Hopefully the offender will be suspended. Find a day care with history of good reviews with older dates and not just recent. This centre has been operating since 2006 but only a handful of review with recent date. Don't make the same mistake like us. Find a centre with a review either via google review or facebook or ask your neighbors and friends. I have no gain by writing this review apart from preventing babies/toddlers being abused. I had to take a week off after the incident to care for my child while rushing to find a new day care. We were happy with the day care for 9 months but not now. The management team is pretty much protecting their staff. Fair enough. They know each other for years and only knew us for 9 months. Of course they denied the educator did this. Anyway, please be very careful if you decide to leave your child with them. If you ever make a complain, then make sure you always take photo of your child's body before dropping and check your child's body before leaving the centre after pick-up.

I have been coming to The Pines Academy since 2010. I have always been welcomed by all the staff. They all did amazing work with all my children. I always recommend them to everyone I know needs care. Huge thanks to all the staff at The Pines Academy
