Mentone Childcare & Kindergarten

As a placement student, I must say that among my past four placements, Mentone Childcare stands out as one of the most inclusive and loving early childhood service centers. All the staff work as a team, sharing responsibilities equally. I feel incredibly fortunate to have completed my placement here alongside Mohit in the Baby Room and April and Angus in the Kinder Room. If you are a placement student like me, I highly recommend Mentone Childcare as the ideal choice. Likewise, if you are a parent searching for an early childcare service, don’t hesitate—this is an excellent option. The center's policies align perfectly with the principles of developmental psychology, particularly in addressing the psychosocial crises children face during their growth. As a student with a psychology background, I deeply admire how Mentone Childcare not only provides babysitting services but also incorporates a play-based learning approach into its education. In summary, Mentone Childcare is an outstanding choice for both placement students and parents alike.

The staff here are incredibly caring for each of their children, the make it their mission to know each child individually. If you want your kids in safe, caring hands then you can't go wrong here. 100% recommend.

Such an incredible, warm, caring and all round genuinely supportive daycare!!! We are SO happy that we found you guys! It was so hard finding another daycare centre that we loved and trusted with our son & you all have been so amazing with him since the day he came into your care!!! We are so thankful for each and every one of you!!! Our son had an awful time inbetween finding you and we feel so incredibly blessed to have found such a wholesome and warm daycare which he loves to peices!!!! With such beautiful, fun and genuinely caring staff who love the kids!!!!! He always comes home saying how happy is & how much he has had a fun day at his"pencil daycare"! ❤️ ALL the kids there are always so well cared for and always having a blast! It's OBVIOUS that the kids here are so well cared for!!! And now we have a 5 month old baby girl who needs to go into care.. It has been a hard thought to leave her in any care outside of family especially being so young.. and my mummy heart has had a hard time accepting that this has to happen. But honestly after seeing how calm and happy she is when she has been in the centre (not surprised with your staff to be honest, it was a ME separation issue!) I feel so confident that she is in the best care where she will feel safe and loved! So thank you! I just wanted to say thankyou for everything and being so damn amazing with our children! It is SO HARD finding a daycare where you can FULLY trust & we are so happy we have found this in you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ THANKYOU!!!!

I would highly recommend this daycare. The staff are always so friendly and caring towards the children. Celeste has been very helpful when trying to navigate centrelink.
