Melbourne Montessori College

I recently enrolled my child here. Went though the whole process from registering online, paid the application fee, the child and I went for an interview, finally got offered a placement. I then paid the enrollment and school fee. An easy and straight forward process. I encourage parents to take the time when registering online with “The Why” you want to send your kids here: Without the why, you might as well send your kids to any school. My child is loving learning here and I’m very happy that I get to enroll her at the Montessori school which is an extension to our Montessori lifestyle that we’ve been living since the day my child’s born. The staff and teachers here are very responsive from the day I submitted my online interest / registration until acceptance / enrollment. Teachers’ engagement with parents are high. The parents community is great too, helping with the Montessori philosophy at home, another resource available to answer questions / concerns even if you aren’t familiar with the concept. It takes a village to raise a strong, respectful and independent kid and this school provides that.

My daughter has completed her 3 year Cycle 1 journey and my son has currently finished year 2 in Cycle 2. Over the 5 years they have been at the school, each have been taught explicit skills of focusing and stamina to complete the challenging tasks and beautiful relating towards their peers, to name only a few. My family has endless gratitude for this school, teachers and students who have played a part in their journey.

I had a good school tour and put application for my son for cycle 2 in Sept 2020 and paid the application fee. We are expecting to be enrolled in Jan 2022, and was told very likely to be enrolled. Thereafter, I have sent three time emails to their enrolments email address and a lady called Emma, I called reception twice, just ask if there is a space available for my son, while I have never got a reply. The latest email I sent was on the 8th Jan 2022, very politely asking them to give me some updates if my son can be enrolled this year as I applied for. Still no response. It makes me very disappointed.

All reviews are 2 years ago why I need to rate this cause I’m trying to get admission for my kid the response is worse tried to call their land line number no one picking holding line to talk reception can’t connect with I personally went there only got email about information that’s it again trying to reach them don’t know how even went to Brighton campus they sent me to Caulfield campus

Enrolment officer does not reply, I called 13 times to see where my offer is at. The worst communication I have seen in my life
