Habitat Early Learning Peregian Springs

Habitat is an amazing daycare. The staff are absolutely wonderful—they’ve gone above and beyond to make our daughter feel welcome and comfortable. From day one, they helped her settle in smoothly, always showing genuine care and kindness. They’re incredibly reassuring, always providing us with updates via calls or messages whenever we ask, which means so much to us. The facility itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and feels like a nurturing space where she can play and explore.

We've had a great experience with Habitat. The staff are lovely, they plan great days for the kids filled with creativity, the food is well considered and broadens our sons palate, and our son has made some lovely friends.

We love Habitat!! It is truly refreshing to find a daycare center focused on delivering a high-quality daily experience for the kids, rather than always trying to save a buck. The learning resources, play environment and meals are top notch - any other center I’ve visited on the coast really pales in comparison. My girls have fallen in love with the staff, and I truly appreciated their patience especially in the beginning months as they helped my kids to settle in. While there has been some turnover - I think this is a universal occurrence due to current economic conditions, and really doesn’t accurately reflect on just the facility itself. Finding good help is hard in every sector right now! I’m so grateful to have found this center because I truly feel confident that my girls are loved and well-cared for while they’re away from me.

The place looks nice. The tour worked well, we received the form to enroll our son they have a question if your kid is vaccinated and we marked NO. During the tour we asked a couple of times and she said it wasn’t a problem. The sad is they didn’t check our form and she obviously come from other place with different rules and didn’t know the children who go to the centre has to be vaccinated!! What a mess, I canceled my appointments I lost one day of work to go to this interview to listen the manager Centre said my son can’t go to the centre as we choose not vaccinated him.!! Let’s respect each other and check the paperwork we filled and sent, make sure your staff are aware about the rules!! This is my first question when I’m looking for a centre to enroll my son as it is not the only place following this way.

Our son is currently attending Habitat Peregian Springs Early Learning for nearly a year now. The facility, food and staff present exceptionally well and we were initially very impressed but the facility suffers exactly the same issues as other less expensive daycares associated with a high turnover of educators and staff. Unfortunately as a result the program in our opinion subsequently lacks the organisational capability to guarantee a safe play environment for children without a proper channel for complaints observed. It has been made evident that complaints to date to address violent behaviour with children have gone unrecorded which is unsettling to know how this has been allowed to occur. As concerned parents we would prompt other parents to get in touch with the executive team with any concerns that they may have too as Habitat claim to have no insights or records on any incidents reported to previous directors. We hope the new management team are able to get a handle on the present issues to address this problem and we can use this experience to improve the level of care and due diligence.
