Crows Nest Montessori Academy Child Care Centre

I am absolutely delighted with the experience my son is receiving at the center. From the start, the Montessori principles have aligned perfectly with my values and expectations have been exceeded. My son has grown significantly, becoming more independent and developing a caring, nurturing side and while learning to support his peers. The center has been amazing in catering to his needs, from managing his allergies to supporting his progress in multiple languages and motor skills. I've also been welcomed into a wonderful community. My sob interacts not just with staff but with a network of "Aunties and Uncles," and I have formed strong relationships with other parents. The center’s consistency in approach and attention to detail has been impressive, and their accountability, especially in handling any issues, has built trust. My son has also embraced learning about different cultures and I love seeing him participate in charitable activities like pyjama week and working in the garden. Highly recommend!

We have two kids that attend Montessori Crows nest and we cannot recommend this centre more! Mariam Hotait is outstanding in her management of the centre, she hosts the most amazing events for all the yearly occasions including Christmas, Easter, Mothers + Father’s Day etc. The parent teacher nights are also very extensive and informative. Just these events alone put the centre in a different league of its own. The staff are extremely caring and attentive, all are super warm and friendly. We really appreciate the community inclusion the centre promotes as well as the informative daily updates + newsletters that we receive. If you are considering a daycare, I highly recommend to apply to this one as early as possible and give Mariam a call!

We have been extremely happy with Montessori Crows Nest and would highly recommend them. Tue communication we receive is excellent, every day we are sent photographs of our child and details of their activity. When we pick them up the staff are always happy to give an overview of the day as well which means we feel connected. The staff seem to genuinely care as well, everyone knows our child’s name and they greets them with a smile. This is important as it makes our child feel safe. With regards to safety we are very happy with the environment. It’s clean and there is room for them to run around and play safely. The staff appear attentive and engaged. It really feels like a safe environment both physically and emotionally. Finally we are really happy with the daily activities the the development we are seeing with our child over time. Whilst we do everything we can at home it’s great to see them demonstrate new skills and words that have been learnt at daycare. Overall we are very happy that we choose this centre.

Mariam Hotait is a class act and fantastic leader. She brings incredible passion, energy and professionalism that makes Crows Nest Montessori a terrific place for children to develop and their parents to feel part of their child’s education as well as a wider community. This is our third year at the centre (starting from the babies room and then transitioning to the toddlers and then pre-schoolers rooms) and while we have always been impressed by the teaching framework and individual attention for our son during each phase of his development (now currently laying the groundwork for his transition to “big school”), Mariam has made a noticeable difference to the level of organisation, engagement with parents and atmosphere. We’ve also noticed her very hard work behind the scenes preparing for major events (e.g., Easter, Christmas), driving important group activities (e.g., a visit by the local fire station on an appallingly wet day!) and responsiveness to parents. The entire centre is a better place for Mariam's presence! The quality of educators in the pre-school room are also first rate and have had a big impact on our son, especially Nassim Damini and Franca Cabelo.

I cannot recommend Montessori Crows Nest enough! My daughter has been attending for over 6 months now, and she absolutely adores it. Mariam, the center manager, is incredibly helpful and attentive. My daughter has formed a special bond with her. The preschool room is fantastic, and the educators - Ms. Franca, Ms. Nasim, Ms. Vivian, and Mr. Raymond - are truly amazing. They create such a nurturing and engaging environment that my daughter enjoys every minute there. Thank you to the entire team for providing such a wonderful experience for my child!
